Derrick got up and left Diana's house sadly. He knew he had made a very big mistake with Diana and from the look of things, they were never getting back together.
The realization made him so sad. He didn't want to use force on her or insist on the contract they had signed and force her to still stay in his house. He could not do that because he had come to realize that Diana was his true mate. He needed to treat her with respect and treat her mum with respect as well.
When Derrick left Diana's house, her mum went into her room and saw her lying on the bed and crying until she finally slept off.
