[TRIGGER WARNING! This episode contains themes of attempted SA. Reader discretion is advised.] {Damon’s POV} This was my first weekend out of prison, and already I was being forced to go to our new nightclub by my brother. He was the CEO of our father’s main company, Perry Construction, and had been trying to get me “under control” since we were teens. I would cancel, but if I did, it would just be a problem for another day. I have to deal with him eventually anyways, might as well get a few free drinks out of it. I put on one of my nicest suits, all black, and slipped on my shoes. I walked towards the door, to grab my phone and keys and as I did, my phone began to ring. I expected it to be my brother Derek, but instead it was Ethan. Ethan and I had been best friends since we were children. What was strange is that I just talked to him yesterday, so it felt strange for him to be calling again so soon. I picked up the phone, answering it. “Hello?” “Damon, we have a problem!” He said, sounding slightly panicked. “What kind of problem, you sound freaked out, what do you need me to do?” I asked, grabbing my wallet and my keys, and shoving them into my pockets. “It’s Maisy!” He said, anxiety pouring out of his voice. Maisy, that’s a name I hadn’t heard in a while. Maisy was always so much fun to mess with. She got so frustrated when I would argue with her, it was hilarious. “Maisy is just a kid, what kind of trouble could she possibly get into?” I asked. “You tell me! She’s going to your family’s club tonight, the high end one that is having its grand opening!” He yelled. “Maisy is old enough to go clubbing?” I asked. “She turned 26 today, she’s going with Charolette. You know how Charolette gets when she’s been drinking, so I was wondering..” he started. I cut him off, knowing exactly where he was going with this. “Okay, I’ll keep an eye on her, my brother is making me to go the club with him tonight anyways, so I’ll just watch her from a distance.” I grumbled. “You owe me though!” “I owe you!” He said gleefully. I hung up the phone and made my way out of the penthouse. If she’s 26, she should be able to handle herself. They’ve always babied her, but it’s not like she ever told them to stop. She had always been like an annoying little sister that I never asked for. Now she was a thorn in my side again, I was already dreading tonight, and now I had to babysit. I sighed, sliding into my car and making my way to the club. I was not going to enjoy any of this. {Maisy’s POV} We made it to the club and Charolette practically dragged me to the bar, and grabbing us both some drinks. Okay, so here’s a shot of vodka, and here is a tequila sunrise to chase it!” She smiled, handing them to me. I downed the vodka, then the sunrise, and closed my eyes tight. “That was terrible!” I said, holding up the shot glass. “I know, but vodka gets you drunk faster, and if you don’t get drunk in your first night clubbing with me then what’s the point?” She giggled. I couldn’t help but giggle back, after the six pack of Jell-O shots we had before even getting here, plus the vodka I was already beginning to feel a little tipsy. I never was much for drinking, I stayed away from alcohol. “What now?” I asked, feeling lost in the unfamiliar surroundings. I looked around and saw people in fancy clothes, some dancing, some drinking, some talking in a lounge area. This wasn’t what I expected a nightclub to be like, but honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect. “Now, we dance!” She laughed, running to my side, taking my hand in hers and pulling me onto the dance floor. We began dancing with one another, just enjoying the music, but of course two women dancing alone is never ignored for long. A couple of guys came over and began dancing beside us. Charolette had never been one to shy away from men, but I didn’t really need the company. I was looking forward to a night for me and Charolette to party, and have fun. She began grinding on the guy that was dancing with her, when the man who approached me slipped behind me. He grabbed my hips pulling me back against him. “You look so hot over here, I just had to come say hey!” He said. His voice was annoying, and his breath reeked of beer. I moved forward and turned around to face him. “Please don’t do that, I don’t like dancing that way!” I said moving back towards Charolette. She was losing herself in the music, which wasn’t unlike her. The man quickly got behind me again and pulled me back against him, grinding his hips into me. “Don’t be like that, I just wanna dance!” He sneered. His breath was hot and heavy on my neck as his lips brushed against my skin. I pushed him back, and turned to face him. “Leave me alone!” I said in a warning tone. I looked around for Charolette and found her at the bar with the guy she was dancing with. He grabbed my wrist roughly and pulled me back into his chest. “Stop being such a b****, i’m just trying to have a good time. You need to learn to relax, you’re obviously into it, otherwise you would have left by now.” He said in a snarky tone. “I said stop!” I yelled, pulling back away from him and slapping him across the face. He turned to face me, his eyes full of fury. He grabbed my wrist roughly and dragged me from the dance floor into a dimly lit corner. He shoved me into the corner and pinned me there. “I was trying to be nice, but you so obviously want to play hard to get. What are you one of those women that fantasizes about things like this. Meeting a man in a bar, and him having his way with you?” He slurred out. He was drunk, and his hot breath on my face was beginning to scare me. I needed to find a way to get away from him. My heart was pounding in my chest and a tear slipped down my cheek. “Please.. stop!” I cried out.
