After two years, Lilianna was finally going to see her father after so long.
Lilianna was currently sitting in the living room, waiting for Oliver.
He wanted to go with her to see her father. She didn't know why, but hopefully it wasn't to use that as some type of advantage.
After waiting a bit longer, Oliver finally walked out in a crisp new suit.
"Let's go." He said,
Lilianna sighed and got up. They walked to the door as they walked down the hall, Oliver laid his hand on Lilianna's back.
The touch was soft and barely there, but she still felt it.
Since that was a normal gesture, Lilianna didn't pull away or say anything.
They got into the elevator and rode it down quietly.
Instead of someone driving them to the house, Oliver was driving.
The elevator stopped in the underground parking lot.
Oliver pulled a set of keys from his pocket and pressed the button. A black car lit up a few feet away.
The drive to the house was quiet and filled with tension. When they pulled up to Lilianna's old house. They got out and walked over to the door.
Lilianna knocked twice and waited for someone to open.
The door opened to reveal a woman in a nurse's outfit.
"Good morning, how can I help you?" The woman asked,
"Hi, I'm Lilianna Guzman. I'm here to see my father Bailey." Lilianna said,
The woman nodded her head and stepped aside to let them in.
Lilianna and Oliver stepped into the house and since it was technically her house, she didn't wait to be told where to go. She walked down the hall, seeing that the pictures that she hung up on the wall were still up and dust free.
She pushed her old bedroom door open and first noticed that things were moved or added. Her father was sitting by the window staring outside. He held a book in his hand and his glasses were on.
"Daddy." Lilianna said,
His gaze snapped over to her and she watched as a grin broke onto his face.
She rushed over to him and collapsed on his lap.
"Lilianna." He said and hugged her.
The tears finally fell as she sobbed on him. He didn't protest and held her.
"I'm sorry daddy. I didn't mean to leave you on your own." She apologized,
"It's ok, darling. I never blamed you for anything." He said,
Someone cleared their throat and she looked up to see Oliver a few feet away from them.
"Mr. Guzman." Oliver said,
"Who are you?" Bailey asked, staring at Oliver.
"I'm Lilianna's husband." Oliver said,
Bailey blinked down at Lilianna and waited for an answer.
"Yeah. He's um, my husband." She muttered,
He slowly nodded his head and smiled at her.
"Lilianna, dear. Give me a moment with your husband. I'd like to get to know him." Dad said,
"No, dad-" She started, but he raised his hand.
She slowly got up and dried her tears before turning around.
She stared at Oliver warningly as she walked past him. As soon as she was out the room, the door was slammed shut and locked.
She sighed and tried to listen to their conversation, but they spoke too lowly.
Oliver silently stood in the middle of the room staring at the old man before him.
He sighed deeply and looked up at him straight in the eye.
"Aria and I never agreed to you marrying Lilianna." Bailey said,
"It wasn't something we hoped for either. Things became complicated. Aria's case was being investigated. We couldn't stop them because we weren't family. The only way we could've stopped it was to marry Lilianna because she's after all her daughter. I am sorry, Bailey." Oliver said,
Bailey nodded his head and motioned for him to sit.
"What did you tell Lilianna? Does she know the true reason for all of this?" Bailey asked,
"No, she doesn't. She thinks I'm some asshole who kidnapped and just married her. She thinks of me as her evil capture." Oliver said,
"She's seen and spoken to Nicoli Montez. I know the other day she spent the day with him and has told him of me kidnapping her." He explained,
"You have to somehow stop them from seeing each other. Things could get even complicated if he gets involved." Bailey said,
"Which means I have to play the bad guy." Oliver sighed,
"Yes, Oliver. You do." Bailey said,
Oliver nodded his head and stood straight.
"Tell Stephano I said hello. It's always nice to see someone from the D'Amato family." Bailey said, smiling briefly.
Oliver nodded his head. They shook hands before Oliver walked out.
He found Lilianna leaning against the wall a few feet away.
She straightened up quickly and walked over to him.
"What were you two talking about?" She demanded, crossing her arms.
"It's none of your concern, but if you must know he simply asked me about myself and how we got married." Oliver said,
She stared at him trying to figure out if he was lying.
She narrowed her eyes at him suspiciously before entering the room.
~~~~~
Lilianna and Oliver were silent as they both sat eating dinner at the hotel.
Music was softly playing in the background and neither spoke a word.
"Oliver." Lilianna called finally breaking the silence between them.
He set his fork down and looked up at her, raising an eyebrow.
"I want to know what you and my dad spoke about. The truth please." She said, folding her hands.
He sighed and leaned back in the seat.
"Nothing that you need to worry yourself about. He simply asked why you were gone for so long and if you were fine." He answered,
Lilianna narrowed her eyes at him, knowing that wasn't all.
"I want to go see Dan and Seriana tomorrow." She said next,
Oliver shook his head and got up.
"No." He firmly said and began to walk away.
Lilianna angrily huffed and got up after him.
"And why not?" She asked,
Oliver paused making Lilianna crash into his back.
He turned and firmly pulled her to him.
"I know about you seeing Nicoli there. You told him about what happened. I can no longer trust you." He said, shaking his head.
"I've arranged a plane flight for you to go back to Italy two days from now." He said,
Lilianna gaped at him as he turned and walked to his room.
Tears burned her eyes as she thought of not seeing her family. She just couldn't leave again without saying something to them!
Coming up with something quickly, she rushed to his door and rapidly knocked.
After a few seconds he finally opened the door.
Before he could speak, she leaned forward and kissed him. She gripped the back of his neck as she deepened the kiss.
They were both panting heavily as they pulled away.
"So this is how you want to convince me of letting you stay?" Oliver asked his voice deep and husky.
"If it means that I get to see my family again." She replied,
Oliver nodded his head and pressed his lips to hers.
~~~~
Lilianna silently laid on her side.
Oliver's arm was wrapped tightly around her waist as he held her to him as he slept.
It was midnight and Lilianna couldn't fall asleep. She sighed and shifted so she was laying on her back.
She lay naked just as Oliver and she pulled the blanket up to cover her chest.
She secretly wished she felt something at the moment. Anger. Pain. Hatred, but sadly nothing.
She knew she should feel bad about using her body as a bargaining chip to stay, but gosh Oliver at least was oh so great at pleasuring her.
She sighed loudly and turned to stare at him.
His mouth was slightly open as his chest raised and slowly fell. Some of his dark hair fell onto his face.
She couldn't help but brush some back.
His body immediately stiffened, and his eyes opened to stare down at her.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked,
"I'm not sleepy." She mumbled, pulling her hand away and looked away.
"Well you should be after what we've done." He mumbled, nuzzling her neck.
He softly kissed her neck and pulled her closer.
"Oliver, does this mean I can stay?" Lilianna softly asked,
Oliver was silent for a moment before he sighed and rolled onto his back.
"You want to be with him, don't you.” He muttered,
Lilianna tried to play clueless and asked who.
"Don't... don't f*****g lie to me. I know you saw Nicoli and everything. You want him to save you." Oliver growled and got off the bed.
Lilianna sat up as stared at him as he angrily paced the room.
She sighed and sat up holding the sheets up to her chest.
"You can't possibly be jealous Oliver?" She asked which only seemed to dampen his mood.
"You have no right to be jealous. You have me, don't you? I'm your wife. Unlike you Nicoli has been amazing with me and didn't hold me hostage. I was free to decide whether I wanted to be with him." She angrily said to him.
Oliver froze and looked out the window.
He was conflicted, fighting a war inside of him.
He wanted nothing more than to tell her the truth and prove to her that he was better than Nicoli. That she could freely choose him, and he was about to if it wasn't for his phone that buzzed to life.
He picked it up to see his father's name on the screen.
"It’s Stephano. I have to pick it up." He said and excused himself out the room.
Lilianna sighed warily and laid back down.
She should really get back to her own. Every moment she spent here in his bed was bad. Very bad, but she couldn't bring herself to leave.
Instead she turned to her side and snuggled closer to the sheets before falling into a light sleep.
