The next time Lilianna woke up, she found herself laying in the hotel bed.
She groaned and sat up, looking around.
She kicked her feet out the covers and got up.
Walking out the room to her surprise the hotel suite was spotless. It was as if the hotel was never dirty and everything that happened before she passed out was just a dream.
The hurricane was still going on full force and she worried that she wouldn't be able to get home safely.
"The toads are blocked. Everyone is told to stay indoors until it's safe." Lilianna jumped up at the sound of Oliver's voice.
She turned around and saw him a couple feet away from her.
He was sweaty wearing sweatpants, a tight white shirt, and sneakers. His dark hair clung to his forehead and he had headphones hanging from his shoulders.
"I'm sorry... for passing out when I should've helped you with your injury." She said,
"It’s ok. I'm fine now." He said,
She nodded her head and let out a breath as she moved to sit on the couch.
"I don't think it was a good idea to exercise with that big cut on your foot." She mumbled, glancing at his covered foot.
"Lilianna, you've known me for two years now. This cut is like a scratch to me compared to the much more serious cuts that I've gotten." He said as he took a seat next to her.
His muscles relaxed and he flexed his arms and rolled his neck.
"Do you want a water?" She asked staring at him.
His eyes glinted as he fought the urge to smile and nodded his head.
Lilianna released a breath as she quickly escaped to the kitchen.
She opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water.
When she walked back into the living room to find Oliver up and stripping.
His back was turned to her as he pulled his short off. His back flexed and Lilianna nearly swooned at the muscles, scars, and tattoos on his back.
He was going to pull his sweatpants off when she quickly came out of her thoughts and cleared her throat.
Oliver glanced behind him and smirked.
"Sorry. Does this bother you, cara?" Oliver asked as he walked over to her.
His frame towered over her and he took the water from her hands.
His hands grazed hers and Lilianna took in a sharp breath.
He uncapped the bottle and drank all the water.
He went back to sit on the couch and picked up his feet on the coffee table.
Lilianna sat back down and crossed her legs.
"So, does your boyfriend know you're here?" Oliver asked, staring at her.
Lilianna was confused and stared at him. She noticed that his jaw was clenched, and his eyes were narrowed and dark with what seemed jealousy.
"Ah, actually no. He doesn't." She said, deciding to toy with him.
"Why, think you can kidnap me and force me back to Italy?" She asked,
Oliver flinched at that and looked away.
"Lilianna... I'm sorry about that, ok. It wasn't entirely my idea. In fact, it wasn't my idea at all! I never met you until that day at your café." He said, getting worked up.
"What? Then who planned it, Oliver?" She asked, getting up.
"Ah, can't tell you that, Lilianna. I already told you too much." He said, shaking his head.
He got up and was going to walk to his room when she grabbed his arm.
"Please, Oliver. For the past two years my life has changed and has been controlled by people I don't even know! Just give me something!" She pleaded,
Oliver sighed, seeing the desperation in her eyes and voice.
"Fine." He said, taking her hand in his.
They walked to the room and he closed the door.
They walked to the bed and they sat on the edge.
"I can only give you a glimpse of the what is happening." He sighed,
"And I'll appreciate it." She said, grasping his hand.
"I don’t know much myself. Your father... he made a deal with my father a long time ago and two years ago my father put their deal into action. My job was to get you and keep you safe and so I figured by marrying you, that'll be the best way to keep you safe." Oliver explained,
"What deal did my father make with Stephano?" She asked,
"I don't know. The only people who know about the entire thing and is involved is Bailey Guzman, Stephano D'Amato, Constantine D'Amato, Robert de Luca, and Aria Guzman de Luca."
