"Right now, the hurricane is currently is over Los Angeles at the moment!" The weather man exclaimed as he moved his hand over the Los Angeles area.
Lilianna sighed and turned the TV off.
Strong winds were blowing outside, and rain was pelting down on the windows.
The house was silent except for the loud wind and heavy rain.
Her father was sleeping on the second room while Lilianna just relaxed in the living room.
She opened the novel she was reading and tried to finish reading it.
Ten minutes later she was still on the same page and same line.
She couldn't focus on the words in the book.
What happened a few nights ago with Nicoli a relieve for her, but something else was bothering her.
Her phone buzzed, making her jump in surprise.
Hey, Lili. Can you please give me Sana's number? Mickey accidentally deleted it. ~ Seriana.
Lilianna texted her Sana's number and threw her phone on the couch.
Her phone buzzed again, and she picked it up.
She thought it was Seriana, but it wasn't.
Sister-in-law, we need to meet up. I need to talk to you. ~ Valentina.
Lilianna bit her lip, thinking of whether to respond or just ignore it.
Where? ~ Lilianna.
Well, aren't you with Oliver at the hotel now? ~ Valentina.
No. We're having some time apart. ~ Lilianna.
Argh, let's just meet at the hotel. ~ Valentina.
Do you honestly think it's a good idea for us to go out while there's a hurricane going on? ~ Lilianna
Stop being a wimp, Lilianna. I'll see you shortly at the hotel in the lobby. ~ Valentina.
Lilianna sighed and got up.
She walked into her father's room to see him sound asleep. She slowly walked over and took the pen and paper that was beside his bed.
Went out to a meeting. I'll be back and I'll call the nurse to come over. ~ Lilianna
She stuck the note on the nightstand and left the room.
She grabbed her jacket from her room and didn't bother change her tank top and sweatpants.
She grabbed her keys and phone and stuffed them in her pocket she ran out the front door.
After quickly locking the door, she ran to her car and got in.
She sighed and turned it on before shortly pulling out the driveway.
~~~~
"Ok, he should be still sleeping." Lilianna said, talking to her dad's nurse.
"Alright, I'm five minutes away." The nurse said,
"Ok, bye." Lilianna said and hung up.
She walked to the elevator that led out of the underground parking lot.
It opened in the lobby and she walked around, looking for Valentina.
The dark redhead was in the lounge area on her phone.
"Valentina." Lilianna said as she stopped in front of her.
"Lilianna." Valentina said and looked her over.
Lilianna could see the judgement in her eyes, but she didn't care at the moment.
"What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" Lilianna asked, getting to the point.
"Why don't we talk somewhere more private." Valentina said, getting up.
They walked to the elevator and got in with everyone else. They rode up to the 20th floor and got off.
Valentina lead the way as they reached the suite. She took out the room card and swiped it.
The hotel room would've looked the same as when she left it if wasn't for the enormous mess.
Clothes and empty junk food boxes were everywhere. Smoke was a huge cloud above the room.
In the living room there were two half naked women.
"Ladies. Out!" Valentina barked, clapping her hands.
Both women jumped up and looked frightened.
"Mr. D'Amato is a monster!" The blonde screeched and tug her friend up.
They grabbed their clothes and ran out the suite.
"So, this is what my brother has been doing." Valentina sighed, crossing her arms.
Speaking of him, Oliver walked out with nothing on except for a towel around his waist and freshly showered.
"What are you doing here?" He grumbled, glaring at Valentina.
"I thought I told you to leave me the f**k alone." He groaned, walking past them.
For a moment, Lilianna thought he was speaking to her when she noticed it was to Valentina.
"Oh, come down, you old sap. I brought you back your wife. Maybe now you'll get your act together." Valentina said,
Oliver looked up and he stared at Lilianna as if this was the very first time, he saw her.
His mouth parted to say something, but he changed his mind and gave her a straight face.
"There's as reason why we're not together, Valentina." He snapped through clenched teeth.
"Well, I frankly don't care! Father is going to be here in a week, and he can't see you like this and without your wife!" Valentina exclaimed,
"I mean, look at this mess!" She added, pointing around the room.
"I refuse to have maids come in here and try to seduce me again while I'm drunk." He said, defending himself.
Valentina rolled her eyes and looked over at Lilianna.
"Do something to get him to his normal self." Valentina said before storming out the suite.
Lilianna gaped at the closed door where she left.
She sighed and turned back around.
Oliver was sitting on the couch trying to light up a hookah.
"Oliver, don't. I've told you many times that that isn't good for you." Lilianna said and walked over.
She took away from him and placed it on the table.
Oliver silently glared at her and got up.
"You can leave now." He mumbled,
He stared at her for a moment longer and walked away to his room.
Lilianna groaned in frustration and looked around.
She threw her hands up in the and began to pick up the mess.
~~~~
Oliver sighed as he hid in his room like a coward.
Outside was his wife that may or may not be here to demand a divorce.
He checked the security camera in the living room to see her picking up the mess.
He shook his head at her and got up. Before he left the room though, he slipped on a pair of boxers.
He stood in the hallway watching her bend over and pick up empty bottles.
"Lilianna." He said, spooking her.
She jumped up and the empty Jack Daniels in her hand slipped and crashed to the floor.
It broke into a thousand pieces and she stumbled, not wanting to get cut.
Oliver walked over and picked her up so she wouldn't get harmed, but in the process got a glass stuck in his foot.
"f**k!" He cursed, looking down at his now bleeding foot.
He ignored it though and it took Lilianna to his room that was much cleaner.
He set her down once inside and he sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Let me see." Lilianna said, kneeling.
She took his foot and examined it. The glass was still there, and she couldn't really pull it out without more blood coming out.
At the sight of the blood and smell of it though, she got dizzy and well... fainted.
Oliver frowned and raised an eyebrow at her.
"Wow." Oliver mumbled and picked her up off the floor.
He laid her on the bed and walked to the bathroom to fix himself.
15 minutes later his foot was all covered up and he was standing next to the bed, staring at Lilianna.
Her chest lightly rose and fell as she soundly slept.
The hurricane was still going on with full force and it didn't seem as if it was going to stop anytime soon.
He took in a deep breath and released it slowly.
"Angelo mio." He murmured and kissed her forehead.
He walked away and made sure to put on shoes before going to finish cleaning the mess.
Angelo mio- Italian.
Translation: Angel of mine.
