Chapter 19 - The Little Boy
Thomas' POV
Alright, no need to panic, Thomas. You're a smart guy, you can figure this out easily. I encouraged myself after the elevator took off with Emily, my dad and about 5 more people. I saw it stopping at levels 3, 5, 6, 4 and 9 before coming back down to where I stood waiting. An old couple and a nurse came out of the lift once the doors opened.
Alright, I shall approach this as a math problem, since I am not too bad at math. With my mind working quickly, I deduct that the floors where my dad and Emily could have gotten off are either 3, 5 or 6, so I get in the elevator and push 3, not really having a plan for when I do find them.
