10 “Yeah, but we can’t just stand here and let someone else come by and accidentally pick it up,” Sarah pointed out. “And there’s that.” She pointed at the small orb. “A god frog plays with marbles? I thought gods liked dice,” Jenny wondered. “Where’d that come from?” Adam asked Sarah. She shook her head. “I’m not sure, but I think it came from where Mary was-well, probably eaten by the frog.” “Then don’t touch that, either,” Adam suggested as he turned to face his group. “Ruthven, any ideas?” Ruthven shook his head. “None, except that we should not touch the creature nor the orb.” Sarah noticed that the young new addition to their group, Diana stood stiffly among them. She held her hands up in front of her and stared down at her palms in disbelief. “Are you okay?” she asked
