Chapter 16 Affairs

Thinking of what might happen at that time, Richard felt cold and disgusting.

In his memory, he hadn’t gotten the activation potion and was affected by the mysterious radiation. Richard’s right arms changed into something similar to an octopus’ tentacle. After being noticed by other people, he was driven away from the survivors’ base and started to rove around the country. And in the end, he became a bait. He was asked to find useful resources for survivors and lead those mutant creatures out of darkness so that survivors could kill those creatures.

Day after day, Richard realized that he was just a bait like a worm used in fishing. Once he couldn’t help those survivors, he would be discarded like he was rubbish.

And now, Richard had got a second chance to change that. Before he got the activation potion, those mutant creatures were still dangerous to him. And that was why Richard needed more baits to help him. Richard knew that it was an immoral thing to do that. But as long as he could save his families from danger, he would do anything. 

Besides, there would be many baits even if he changed his mind. Only a few people could get the activation potion in the doomsday. As for the rest of them, to survive in the hardships, they must be useful. Being a bait beside people who got an activation potion was the easiest way to get plenty of food. At least that was a chance to survive instead of starving to death.

“Richard… Richard! Do you hear what I said? Are you going to the party with me or not? They all want to meet you.” Mary looked at Richard and waved her hands before Richard’s eyes.

She found that Richard had been absent-minded recently. Did he think of another woman?

Thinking of that, Mary was anxious. Mary had a rough time in her pregnancy. So, they didn’t have s*x for a long time. Mary suddenly recalled that Richard hadn’t had s*x with her for almost a year… Richard is still young. Why wouldn’t he ask to… Does he have a mistress? Many men have affairs when their wives are in pregnancy…

Mary was more and more anxious. Should I ask for it? But I haven’t recovered yet… Mrs. Barton said that anal s*x was also an option… Will it be painful? If I scream because of pain, will Steven be wakened up? God, what am I thinking? That is so embarrassing…

Mary’s face turned red. She never expected that one day she would have such a crazy idea. But if Richard wanted it, she would like to try it even if it hurt.

“What’s wrong with you? Your face is so red. Are you hot? Go to dress yourself. We will go to meet your classmates together. You can invite them to be our guests in three days. We are going to hold a party for Steven.” Richard didn’t know why Mary’s face would turn red in second. He wouldn’t know that when he was thinking of solving problems in the future, his wife was thinking of their s*x life.

Soon, Williams arrived at Union Castle. Once entering the gate, Mary noticed a sturdy man was ordering foods.

Noticing Mary walk in, the man laughed and ran to her. “Mary! You are here! I haven’t seen you for years! You still look beautiful and cute!”

“Henry, you are also handsome…” Mary smiled. The man was her classmate Henry Pope. Henry had been sturdy when they were at school. But now, he was even more sturdy. And he was rather tall. That made him look like a bodyguard.

“Really? I still want to lose some weight.” Henry looked at Richard and smiled slightly.

“This is my husband, Richard Williams. This is my son, Steven.”

“I heard you are married. Richard, I have heard your names many times. You were adored by the top two beautiful girls in my class.” Henry gazed at Richard with a fierce look.

Henry’s friends all knew that Henry was desperate when he heard that Mary had a boyfriend. Actually, Henry wasn’t the only one who got a blur mood. Almost half of Mary’s female classmates were curious about Richard. The top two beauties, Mary and Vera all loved him at the same time. And that was why all boys in Mary’s class hated Richard.

And now, standing before Richard, Henry couldn’t deny that Richard was a special man. Richard acted calmly and gracefully way. 

Henry hadn’t met anyone who acted like Richard. Richard was only several years older than Henry. Henry could tell that Richard was a gifted man. But he didn’t know what kind of man Richard was nor if Richard could make Mary, the woman he had loved, happy. Maybe Mary deserved a man better than Richard.

Thinking of that, Henry was furious. He hadn’t any romantic relationships in the past years because he couldn’t stop missing Mary. Now, he was the boss of a company in Washington. He had about tens of million dollars. And since Richard had no job now, maybe this was his chance…

Henry gazed at Richard for a while and uttered, “I am so excited that I forget to order meals. Mary, you can go to join them first. Many of your friends have arrived. You can go to chat with them. Richard, can you help me? I will lead you to Mary later…”

“Richard, what do you think?” Mary looked at Richard with a worried look. She knew Richard didn’t like strangers. And Richard had never come to such a restaurant, let alone ordered meals. Will Richard feel embarrassed to stay with Henry?

“I will go to find you soon. Take care of Steven and have fun.” Richard smiled at Mary and tapped her shoulder.
