Elizabeth had been trying to calm me down for the past hour and I’m still a mess, I’m angry that the woman who tried to kill my mate is on the loose, I’m scared of what she would do if she found Mason and I was sad, I missed my mate, my mind was working overtime going a mile a minute. Evelyn was back and she had a bone to pick, fear raked my body making me shiver, if she ever found me, she would know what I was and she would know that there was one last dragon still in existence, she would want to finish what she started, and she would kill my mate. The thought made my heart shatter into a million pieces, no, I would never let her find Mason, I will protect him, even if it means killing my own sister, I won’t allow Evelyn to take my mate from me.
