Chapter 7

Kiss my tears away

Ashley stared at her confusingly, she felt her heart miss a beat. Wait. What? Did she hear that right, how can she possibly do such

“What???” her mouth trembled as she tried to question Mrs. Wilfred's opinion

“I can't do that” she strutted on her words and Mrs. Wilfred smacked,

“Why can't you?” she cut her off and Ashley swallowed nothing. Her heart began to beat fast against her chest, and she felt a sharp cut across her chest, she wished she was been beaten to death, but the pain will still not be up to the amount of pain she feels in her heart.

A light smile crept its way to Rex's lips, he was so certain that Ashley was going to choose him.

Turning her head to face Kai, she was met with a disheartening look, his emotion could easily be read, he felt he had lost the battle. Ashley signed despondently how did she get into this, how come she didn't see this coming?

What difference will it make if she leaves Kai for Rex, will her father be happy with her, will he not see a reason to hate her, even though her father was never after her happiness, she loves him so much and she doesn't want him to ever get upset with her. if she wishes to go with Rex Mrs Wilfred will call off the partnership and her dad will get mad at he .Turning to Stare at Rex for the last time a smile creep it way to his lips but she cut those feelings off, with her words.

“I'm married to Kai now, and I loves him”those words came out like a bomb. Her heart hurts deeply but she has no choice .Rex's heart hurts deeply as she muttered those words. His heart stiffened in pain as it felt to him like a dagger was thrust into his chest. He gave her a very despondent look as he watched Kai hug, Ashley, out of excitement tears rolled freely down his cheeks as he watched her manage to accept the hug.

An evil smack crept its way to her to Mrs. Wilfred's lips, she guess she already knows how to manipulate the poor ashley.

With tears rolling freely down his cheeks he took the existing door , stormed out of the house, hopped into his car, and drove out.

“Don't stand there and hug each other, Kai help me get some stuff at the grocery store” casually, she muttered like it was nothing and Kai nodded with his hands still wrapped around Ashley

“You may go with your little angel, I don't mind she muttered sarcastically, and Kai nodded, he was never a man to smile, he probably would have been wearing one now.

Driving roughly into the club, Rex pulled his car to a halt at the place he figured was a parking lot and he stepped out. To him, this is the only place that will fetch him peace.

His legs managed to walk him to into the club as all the things that happened from yesterday to this morning played in his head. He walked into the club absent mindedly cause all he felt was pain and nothing else, he wished he never travelled. Maybe all this wouldn't have happened.

Walking straight to the bar, he requested for a bottle of Alchol and began to drink directly from the bottle not minding the attention he was getting from everyone. He would gladly do this over and over if this will bring back his Ashley but of course he knows he is just being silly course that's never going to happen. He had remembered the first day he met Ashley. He left this club for the house and just when he was about to drive out her car almost brushed his. Although there first meeting wasn't a nice one, cause Ashley had an emergency but Rex was not willing to acknowledge that.

Taking another drink directly from the bottle.he tilted his head to the stage and watched as the strippers danced to the rhythm of the song. The view was giving but his present condition wasn't giving him the ability to complement everything.

Ashley's words played in his head and his heart sank in pain.

“I'm sorry Rex, but you don't have any right over me I'm married to Kai now and I want you to stay away from me, from me”those words pierced his heart deeply like he had sustained an injury.

A lady stepped down from the stage and gestured towards the bar with her gaze on Rex although she has been on the stage but she wasn't dancing, neither was she a stripper.

“Hey cutie! do you care for a night?” she went straight to the point and Rex chuckle hardly.

“If I can't get it my way” he sipped from the bottle and She smiled

“What way?”she inquired and He pulled her closer to him self and slammed his lips on hers. They both kiss for a long while as there tongue fought for dominance.

“Hard” he finally muttered coldly and pulled away from the kiss and she nodded.

He guess this won't be a bad idea, he really wants s to do something, something that will erase this moment from his mind.

The ride to the grocery store was long and boring as they both sat there not willing to make the first move. The only thing that was keeping the atmosphere lively was the music that played In the car, After what took like forever, the ride came to an end and Kai parked St the front of the grocery store, he stepped out of the car and proceeded to open the other side for Ashley to stepped down. He was trying to become a gentleman cause this is just not his thing.

Ashley steppes out of the car with a lot of questions throwing up in her head, where did he sleep over night? She widy she had someone to explain everything to, maybe she would feel at ease. Reaching out to her hands, he intertwined them together and gestured into the store. Kai was never a lover boy so he didn't know what he needed to do to keep her comfortable

After getting all the items that were needed in the house, he paid for them and arranged everything In the booth before leaving the store

He drove to the nearby ice cream shop and got two ice cream

“Here you go!” he stretched out and Ashley collected it from him before gulping down the lumps in her throat

“Thank you.” she manages to say while Kai just nodded

“Do you want some chocolates?”

“Yes”she nodded a little bit timidly and Kai gestured towards the Chocolate Cantin

He finds this really awkward, even when he was dating his finance , he didn't do all of this with her, all he wanted was s*x and random romance. He headed back to her and gave her the chocolate which she munch on before they finally hit the road.
