Everly's POV
She let Jorge go, 2hen she did he ran off back in the direction I was trying to ger away from, I glared at Henry who seemed paniced now that I had killed two of his accomplices.
He was running out of people the more he kept trying to get to me. I yanked the knife from my grandmother's back and she yelled out. Her cry in pain made my daughter's wailing get louder, and I could feel how petrified she was. She was so scared and it broke me witnessing it.
I carefully took her out of Iris' arms and back away slowly as the other wolf growled and began stalking towards us.
I opened up the link again because I knew i wouldn't make it back home before she caught me, I killed her friend. Possibly her mate and she was looking at me with a bloodthirsty glint in her eyes.
