Michael's POV
I ran, after I left the house and shifted into my wolf I took off. I knew me leaving hurt not only her feelings but also both Gabriel and Milo.
But I have a right to be angry. The entire time I've known Everly I've watched her get hurt over and over again and couldn't do a thing about it.
But the second she asks me to watch her baby while she got a little bit of sleep, I hurt her too when I couldn't even keep Diana safe. I think last night was the first full night I think she has actually slept through.
Feeling somebody hit me in the side making me roll. I growl and quickly get back to my feet and into a fighting stance as I faced who had hit me.
I recognized the dark chocolate wolf instantly and my wolf whined as he backed down. It was my cousin and she was pissed at me
