Gabriel's POV
"I guess me tripping over that root triggered a memory that caused all the rest to follow." She shrugged her shoulders. "They are still coming in and it's making me rethink everything I ever said or did." Everly said and looked at me breifly. "I wasn't a very good person before. Selfish actually."
"That isn't true." My heart raced in my chest when she said her memories were coming back.
"You don't think that because you love me. All of you do, but I really was." She sighed again. "I'm sorry for everything I did before today. I laughed at what you all were, what she is! And I am sorry for that!" She said.
I moved closer and grabbed her waist and pulled her on my lap. I tucked her in my arms and hugged her tightly.
