I struggle to keep up with Lorcan’s strides; I’m practically running. He opens the door to our bedroom and pushes me inside. I fall on my ass and scramble away from him.
I want to fight back, but Lorcan is much stronger and faster than I am. If he were to beat me for what Mason did, I’d take it and move on—by that, I mean I’ll leave because I won’t put up with this any longer. But I hope Lorcan doesn’t resort to that when we’ve been doing so well.
