Arianna's POV
"What happened?" Diego shook me as I started crying after reading the note.
I could not even respond to him. Diego took the note from me and read it.
The note said
"If you want your mom and sister to be safe, come and meet us"
"Don't try to alert the Cops or else..."
"We have men inside the department so don't try to act smart" The note was a threat that if I tried to invoke the police, they will hurt my family. The way they left the sentence mid way, made me all the more scared for my family.
There was address given below. My hands shook as I processed everything.
Diego helped me sit on the sofa. And bought me a glass of water.
