I continued making the sandwich after Lucas left. I took a deep breath and gathered my thoughts before I continued making my dinner. I was hesitant if I should make one for Lucas or not but decided to pursue the former. I finished eating mine then cleaned up the kitchen a little bit before deciding to go back to our room.
I know that he's going to sleep in his study room since that's the set up we agreed on. I went upstairs and went straight to his study room to bring him his sandwich. I knocked three times but no one is answering. I was thinking that maybe he's already sleeping but I tried to knock one more time. Still, no one answered. I tried to turn the knob and look inside. I frowned when I found the room empty. There's no sign of anyone in there.
