CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE
PEARL
I woke up stretching out my hands, and yawning loudly. My body felt extremely sore and I was so very tired and exhausted from last night, all thanks to Ivan, who kept me up last night.
I opened my eyes and noticed that he was out of the bed, he was out of the room as well and I was extremely delighted as I slowly sat up from the bed, leaning on the headrest, feeling extremely sore down there.
Ivan was out which was a good thing but I wondered if he ended up changing his mind and had decided not to keep to his promise.
"It's going to be okay," I told myself, trying to calm my nerves.
"I'll just get dressed and have some breakfast, talk to him, visit grandma and everything will be back to normal”
