Gosh, what have I done?! I couldn't believe that I had just fallen on Ian, and now he was lying on the floor looking up at me with a mixture of shock and confusion. I was mortified, and I wanted to disappear into the floor.
"I'm so sorry!" I apologized, my face flushing with embarrassment.
"I don't know what happened, I just slipped and then I was falling, and I landed on you. I didn't mean to do that."
I could see that Ian was still in shock, and I was afraid that I had really hurt him.
