CHAPTER FIFTY NINE
PEARL
Ivan got out of the car without a word, and I reluctantly followed him. My heart was pounding, and I felt a knot of anxiety in my stomach. How was I going to get through today?
I could feel the weight of everyone’s eyes on me as I stepped out of the car and into the grounds of the estate. The air was filled with the soft music of the wedding band and the murmur of conversations, but all I could hear was the pounding of my heart.
“Don't be so nervous and act normal..” he whispered to me, circling his hands around my waist as I nodded slowly.
“Welcome, Luna,” Gale approached us with a wide smile on his face, and beside him was a woman who was seemingly the bride.
