PEARL
I was completely taken aback by Ian's sudden actions.
I felt a mixture of fear and excitement coursing through my body. As he disappeared into the darkness, I closed my eyes and held my breath, holding him tight as the rain fell on the both of us.
He soon arrived at his manor, opened the door, walked in, and closed the door right after.
“We're here..” he announced, dropping me on the ground. We were both dripping wet as water droplets fell on the ground.
“Are you okay?” He asked as I shook my head slowly. My whole body was shivering with cold.
I was drenched from head to toe, my clothes clinging to my skin. I could feel my teeth chattering, and my body was beginning to ache from the cold.
"I'm sorry," I heard Ian apologize, his voice full of concern.
