Saving The Broken Soul

PROLOGUE

Everyone is in a festive mood with lightning all around and feels like the pack land of Mighty Crescent Pack is being adorned like a beautiful bride on the eve of the most celebrated festival there, and that is Christmas. But the happiness of the Wilson family is doubled this year as the only daughter of the family is getting married very soon.

Everyone is happy in the family but apart from this happiness, an innocent soul is sitting near the window of her room and gazing at the night sky as if she is sharing her unsaid feelings with the moon and stars. At that very moment, some people came to congratulate her on her upcoming marriage, she smiled shyly towards them. But the saddest part is that everyone can see the happiness on her face but no one can see the raw pain behind her smiling facade.

She is talking animatedly and making everyone think that she is extremely happy with her father's decision. But inside, her wolf is crying because they will never going to meet their destined mate, they will never feel the sparks about which her friends talk about. Yet, she will not complain because after so many years of yearning her father is finally showing appreciation towards her and she will not let it go because of her pain.

On the other hand, a man who is full of power is looking at the fireworks that are going on in the sky through his bedroom's balcony. He knows why all the people of his pack are so happy. They are finally going to have a luna whom they can look up for guidance. However, he is not happy with this marriage because he thinks he is betraying his late mate. That's why he is going to make sure that his so-called soon-to-be wife knows her place in his life from the start.

He will show her why she shouldn't have agreed with this marriage. He will show her how cruel he is to people who can't wait for their destined mate and are always ready to select power over love. He will show her how worthless she is to think that she can take his beloved mate's place in his and their daughter's life.

"Just wait and watch Abigail Wilson, I will make your living hell." Nicholas Ruso promises clutching the wine glass tightly in his hands.
