It had been a long day, but Maggie handled it just like any other. When the time came to drive home, however, something inside her snapped, and she just couldn’t deal with married life anymore. She couldn’t deal with being married to Max anymore!
Her hands shook as she pulled her car into the driveway, and her heart raced when she stepped through the front door. She went looking for a suitcase and started packing when Max walked through the door.
“What are you doing?”
“I am divorcing you.” Wow! It was easier to say that she thought it would be!
“WHAT? Are you kidding me?”
“No,” She gave him a quick glance, then walked to the bathroom to pack her things, stuffing them into her suitcase, so she could get out of there as fast as possible.
