(Dominic's POV)

As we filed into the bar, I was agitated with my father for sending me out with these two, we were just scouts, trying to collect information and to look into rumors we heard of. My father wasn't doing so well, and you could tell, after Mother died, he just wasn't the same. For twelve years, he'd been looking into the attack where my mother had died, and up until now we haven't gotten any good information of what happened, other that it was a retaliation from the humans. About what exactly that we hadn't been clear on. If I kept going out with these two we'd never find out, Ron and Jase have always liked having their fun while out of the reservation, where now all werewolves or suspect of werewolf was sent, they had all our faces and some were chipped like dogs. Luckily some of us were still roaming free but well under the radar.

As soon as we walked in Ron had already zoned into the group of women, the one was undressing him with her eyes, as was he to her. I rolled my eyes, I was in charge sort to speak, but sense we found nothing, I let it go, and let them have their fun. I had decided to sit out, but caught one of the women looking at me, not long she went back to her drink, the guys walked over, but when I heard Ron call her Miss Piggy, that just rubbed me wrong. The woman didn't say anything, she wasn't ashamed for being big, more like she just accepted that Jase wasn't interested in her, that spiked my interest. I got up and headed over, next to her I could smell her, and that made my wolf stir but why.  I could hear her heart pick up in pace, I hid my smile, once Jase and her friend were gone, she was ready to leave, again that took me by surprise, most human women are begging to have attention.

When she said I didn't have to pretend to want to talk to her, that made me mad a bit. Some how I convinced her to stay and invited her a drink. Her voice rang so sweetly in my ears, like finding your favorite song. I looked at her yes, she was thick, not fat exactly, but she did have meat on her bones, something I never really thought I'd find sexy, but this woman was really gaining my attention the more we sat here. Yes, she was smart and to my surprise wanted to be a teacher, I had a nephew and I adored him. In the pack you didn't really have a lot of women that really cared for kids anymore, all those were already taken.

I found myself looking at her lushes lips, what was this woman doing to me. I didn't even know her yet I could already imagine us in bed.

Her phone ringing was what brought me back to earth.

"Hello?"

"We need to talk." I heard the male voice, and he sounded frustrated.

"We already spoke, and I've made myself clear, Caleb."

"I am your uncle and your legal guardian..."

"You were, I'm twenty-two, and am taking care of myself now!"

"Don't make this harder then it has to be, sweet heart."

"Bye, Uncle."

She hung up the phone, and I pretend I hadn't heard anything, she turned back to me plastering a forced smile on her face.

"Sorry, about that, um...I'm going to head back to my place..um nice talking to you."

With that she was gone, I actually missed her and she'd been gone for a second. I looked where she had been sitting and found she forgot her phone. What the hell was going on? I rubbed my face, got up, grabbed the phone, and went after her.  I have never felt this, longing for a complete stranger, but something in me was screaming for me to find her.

I heard screaming ahead and ran toward the screams, someone was trying take her.

"Get off me!" She yelled to my surprise again she punched one in the face, and the other in the groin, but they wouldn't stop. I knew I shouldn't but I jumped in and soon we had all the guys on the floor.

"Come on!" I told her pulling her away from the alley, cliche thing it started to rain. We hid and just waited to see if they followed. She leaned back on the wall, cursing and sounding frustrated.

"You know those guys?"

"No, but my uncle does."

I thought about it for a second, but decided to play dumb.

"Is your family in the mafia or something?"

"No...look it's a long story, but thank you for your help."

"Actually you forgot this."

I handed back her phone, and she was relieved I guess. She just looked tired and defeated, a woman that just kicked ass, I couldn't help be drawn in by her.

"Hey, let's get out of here, it might not be a lot but I'm staying close by."

All a lie but, I really didn't want to let her leave more of those guys could be waiting. I was genuinely worried for this human woman, why?

"Thanks, I...um...I guess, it'd be fine."

I took her hand and she followed me to the fanciest place in the city, I had the funds and it was for one night anyway. I paid for the room in cash and we headed up. By then she was shivering, I let her get in the shower and sent her clothes to be dry cleaned this place had that. Her scent was sweet to me, it had my wolf at attention, he even urged me to get in the shower with her, but I didn't want to scare her, humans were easily scared. When she came out she wore one of the robes the hotel offered, then I got in the shower to. Her scent had me unable to think and all I wanted was to....I shook my head what was she, why was I reacting like this with her? I jumped out out the shower and wrapped a towel around my hips. When I got to the door I heard her talk on her phone again.

"Has he talked to you?"

"Yes, and I won't risk Katy, he's s**t out of luck, you sure those men came after you because of Caleb?"

"I'm sure of it, his head is so far up his ass, Liam, I'm scared of what he'd do."

There was silence.

"I wish Dad was here, I really do."

"So do I, look sleep on it, then go talk to him, he has to understand."

"Fine. night."

"Night,."

She hung up and dropped on the couch, it sounded like her brother. I felt a growl form in my chest, was I jealous, of who this other male was, Really? I opened the door and walked out, when her eyes fell on me, she was so aroused, which got me going too.

"Hey."

"Sorry my clothes are soaked too."

She cleared her throat a couple times clearly not knowing how to react, this wasn't her cup of tea, and I felt good about that thought.

Ironically there was a fire place in the room which made the atmosphere more intimate and warm. I sat on the couch in front of it, just waiting for her to come to me.

"Look I really hope I don't get you in trouble, you shouldn't of gotten involved..."

She was close enough so I asked her to sit down next to me, she sat down. I turned to look at her, she really was worried about me. That made me like her all the more, a selfless person. Before I could really think, I placed a tender hand on her cheek, which she leaned her face more into, she looked at me. The heat in her eyes, just confirmed what I was feeling, and made me make the next move without a second thought.

I kissed her, and she kissed me back, she tasted so sweet, her lips so soft. It was simple tender kissing, then slowly went up into fiery, passionate kissing. Before we knew it we were out of the robe and towel, her skin so soft to touch. I picked her up effortlessly and took her to the bed, letting my hands run over her body, memorizing everything delicious curve. She was the most beautiful creature to me, even when I had no idea what her name was.

When she opened herself to me, her scent had me going hard and wanting her even more. Without her telling me I knew to be gentle, to most men that scarred them, but I felt honored to be her first. I slide myself in and it felt so right, like a puzzle that was being completed. She gasped when she first felt me, but soon I moved, and her moans and gasps were music to my ears. I wanted to make this last, but she came with a moan, as she dug her nails into my back, making me follow her into the whirl of pleasure.

"I can't believe we just did that." she whispered, but it wasn't filled with regret, just disbelief. I kissed her again, and even if I might not ever see her again, I wanted her to remember this night forever.

(Tonia's POV)

Last night had been a dream right, a delicious dream, I didn't want to wake from but I got tired and had fallen asleep. I realized I felt cold and alone, when I turned I was, the bed next to me was empty. I shuddered at the memory of last night, one no other man was going to be able to erase from my mind.  My phone rang, I looked at the time, it was six in the morning, then picked up my phone and saw who was calling I had to push the night into the back of my mind. I answered it.

"What the hell do you want?!'

"I didn't send those men, I promise."

"Your promises have never been worth much, Caleb!"

"Please could we talk, just let me say my piece, please Toni?"

I didn't really like my uncle, but whenever he used my nick name, it pulled on a sensitive string.

"Fine, but you already know my answer."

"Fine, where do you want to meet?"

I recommended a favorite diner, looking around I found my clothes clean and dry on the couch. I got dressed and headed out to meet with my uncle. I was still a little sore from last night, but I hid it. Caleb was my father's and Liam's mother's brother, the middle child of course, he got custody of both of us after my father died, and our lives were  in the back seat of his wants and needs, Caleb wanted to ride his family name up to the big house, he was nothing more then a senator's aide, he did whatever he could to win credit, while not sacrificing anything him self, it had always been me and Liam acting like the adults. but even with everything he made us go through Liam and I always took care of each other, it was thanks to Liam that I had my weight under control, we worked out together, and ate healthy and everything, but with him gone I have not had the same motivation.

I walked into the diner, and took a seat in front of my uncle. He gave me his big charming smile which would have any other woman getting weak in the knees, I just wanted to punch him in the face.

"How's my favorite niece?"

"Just get to it, Caleb."

"Okay, like a said before, I need you take me up on my offer, we need eyes and ears in the packs, you're not the only one being recruited for this assignment."

"Like I said last time, no."

"Toni, don't do it for me, you want to teach kids, they have kids that need teachers."

"I just started school, Caleb!"

"They're giving you the chance to finish, while molding you into what they need."

"Yeah, a spy, I'm not doing it!"

He went serious, no smile no twinkle in his eye, as he said.

"They'll kill Liam and Katy, Toni."

"Don't you dare threaten them, Caleb!"

"They will and they won't think twice about it."

I knew they would, they took Liam they were more then capable of killing them and making it look like an accident. I glared at my uncle he didn't care if one of us died, as long as it got him what he wanted.

"Fine.but I'm not reporting to anyone."

"That's kinda of the point."

"They want to bug me that's fine but I won't report to anyone."

He sighed but nodded, then he got up and walked out of the diner. I stayed and ate breakfast. My mind slowly going back to last night, I had actually had a one-night stand. I rubbed my face, as it slowly came back to me. It had been amazing, but it was the first and the last. I took a deep drink of my coffee, and just let the memory be buried in the back of my mind. I was never seeing him again so might as well forget the nameless stranger.
