Sophia I didn’t want any of the guys to get hurt, and I didn’t want Mike or his friends to die if it came down to it. But Jax was right. Even if the guys let them go, Sam and his friend wouldn’t let them go for long. They would respect Rooster’s request not to do anything in his town, but Mike and his friends would be free game once they were gone. I sank into Jax’s kiss, letting my body respond on its own.
