30: The phone call

ACE Beads of sweat trickles down my skin, my pants are loud in the dead of the night. Not a creature out in sight besides the guards on night patrol. Air as cold as the winter snow, just the perfect time for a run. I do these to keep my blood pumping, and my body working, but on some nights it feels like I'm being chased by something. I can never figure out what that ‘something’ is. Silas threatening Avalon, and myself, has brought on some old memories, from when we first met, and the situation that made him consider me his friend. I wish I knew what he meant by ‘betrayed’, as far as my memory reaches I haven't done anything that would be considered as a betrayal.
