AVALON “Daddy's home." The familiarity of the tone had my jaw landing with an audible smack. This can't be real. Dad is....in prison. He has been there for five whole years. Going to six. I'm sure his sentence was life. Or close enough. He was jailed for a lot of bad things. Atleast fifty years tops for the crimes they convicted him of. I doubt they would have reduced his sentence for good behavior. My dad and good in this context is utterly wrong.
