AVALON “Are your excited, princess?” Dad inquired, smiling as he took his seat next to me. I couldn’t hold back my smile. This is so unreal. We’re actually watching a football game together. It’s not exactly bonding or anything too exciting, and I know my father only brought me here because he made a bet and he wanted to be here when he won- what? I’m not stupid. I know these things. They're basic knowledge. He doesn’t actually like the sport. The same way he took me to a horse race when I was eight. Even then I knew he was there for a bet, but who was I to complain about spending some time with my old man. He could bet, and I can spend my time doing what I really planned.
