AVALON The blaring buzz of an alarm clock stifles me out of my almost coma induced sleep. My face is pushed into something soft, and takes me a moment to realize that it's a pillow. My fingers stretches over to the table by the bed side, smacking the wretched device until it clutters to the floor with a shattering clang. With a shaky laugh, I gather my bearings and push my face out to view my surroundings. Where the hell am I? My eyes are clouded with tears, and I can't pinpoint why.
