Amara: The Forbidden Child

Chapter 4

I got there I sat down and looked up and I see Amos walking towards me, he had a huge grin on his face he was also holding a huge box, but he looked different, he had a set of horn sticking out of his head I gasped and said to him “You’re a monstrosity!” I deadpanned he started laughing and spoke

“Says the one that has 30 feet wingspan showing.” He put the chest down and came and sat next to me and engulfed me in a huge hug as I was sitting there crying and he said to me.

“Now, now stop crying everything will be fine, you will be okay you will grow stronger from this it was done to protect you.”  I looked up at my friend who I have known all my life and he look older wiser than I ever seen him I ask him.

“How long have you known?” he sighs and answers

“I found out on my 21st birthday last year, my father came to me and told me that I am to protect you and watch over you until everything is relieved and once it has been that I am to give you this chest and then start training you.”

“Who is your father, and what are your exactly” I asked with a look of confusion on my face.

“I am a Incubus Demon, my father is Asmodeus, our fathers are brother my father was one of the first 7 Archangel to fall, when he fell he fell with Lucifer to hell he become one of the 9 kings of hell and an a demon, He is a high level so he is able to produce children, I am like his 1000th child but his only current living one.  Your father told my father when your mother was with child because My father wants the same thing as your father peace amongst the realms and only way to do that is if a “Nephilim” was to be created, so I am to train you against other demons and angels that seek to destroy our world, you father will return when he know you are ready to continue with him, he knows that you will be reluctant at first because of him abandoning you, but he has watched over you all these years, now in this chest is all the weapons and gear that we will need to start training, we will start your training after your cheerleading competition this weekend, is that understood.” He said I nodded I was still in a bit of shock about what was just told to me.

We headed home I was exhausted from the day I have had Amos placed his firsthand my shoulder and a black mist appeared and next thing I noticed we were standing in our living room. He smiles and says, “One perk of being a demon I can mist in and out of places just a witch can teleport.”  I was grateful for that now because I was so tried, I don’t think I would have teleported home properly, he went into the kitchen as I made my way into my room and turned on my shower he yells “I am making you a tea let me know when you are finish showering, I’ll bring it to you.”

I yelled back “I will, where is my car?” He responded

“In the garage, your purse is on the dresser and your phone is on the charger on your nightstand, Queen Scarlett had a guard bring it back when you took off earlier that’s how I knew to come find you.”

I stepped into shower I let the steam and hot water roll down my body I let it take me if for a few minutes when I finished, I got out and walked in grabbed my shirt and shorts and went to my bed I yelled “Amos, I am done if you want to bring me my tea.”

He replied, “I will be right in their sweetie.”  He brought me my tea and sat next to me, and I looked at him with wonder.

He said “Cousin, you will be fine, and things will work itself out, I promise to always be on your side I will train you protect you and when the time comes, I will fight by your side.” With that I gave him a smile and drank my tea and when I finished

“Good night, Amos, I will see you in the morning I have practice tomorrow two long days ahead I need my rest” I yawned, and I laid down and closed my eyes and feel into a deep sleep.

Amos POV

I found out a little bit over two years ago that my best friend is my cousin and that I am a Incubus Demon and my father is one of the first fallen archangels, and that my purpose in life is to protect and train her when the time comes, she will be the most powerfullest being in the realm and she will be the one who can maintain the balance or destroy this world as we know if and it is my duty to make sure she maintains the balance I have to train her until her father Zadkiel returns to show her everything else. He is supposed to come shortly after he 21st birthday in a few months we still have 3 months until then, I got word this afternoon she found out about her existence and she flew away the Queen brought her stuff home and sent and note telling me to go and find her with the box I will be to only one that will be able to talk to her and explain everything to her for her to understand.

 I used my shimmering abilities to locate her and I found her at the hidden waterfalls it was where we used to go as children when we needed to get away, I sat and watched her for a few minutes and I approached her, she had me smiling with her beautiful wings showing and glowing, when she seen me and I see the tears in her eyes I had to embrace her with a huge hug and let her know everything will be okay, and when I explained everything to her she seemed more relaxed then she was before, when we were finished I knew that I would be the one bringing us home she was too exhausted to teleport us and she hasn’t learned to shimmer yet so I got us home and I went to make her a tea that will help her sleep, I texted Raven and told her to let the coach and the team know that tomorrow morning practice was canceled and that they will more than likely not have practice before competition. Raven texted me back asking what was going on I told her what has happened she told me she would make sure everyone was aware of tomorrow and that she will make sure everyone had their assigned teams and that they had practice tomorrow afternoon and late morning on Thursday since they wanted to make sure they were good for competition. I told her that was fine but to expect Amara to be there until Friday for competition.

After she drank her tea, she fell asleep I went to check on her before laying down myself I decide that I would sleep in her room to keep a close eye on her, so I got under the blanket, kissed her forehead, and laid next her. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I was woken up about 3 hours later to her screaming and crying I looked at her I grabbed her and held her to and told her it was just a dream, I tried to calm her down to go back to sleep when she looked at me and said “I have to be sure I don’t chose the dark side because if I do everyone I love and careful will die and my parents didn’t protected me all these years for me to fail them I can’t fail them.” 

I looked at her and said to her “Amara, you will choose the right side you are stronger than you think or believe at the moment and remember I will be with you no matter what I love you now go back to sleep.”  It took her about 3 minutes to fall back to sleep once I knew she was out I laid back down and went to sleep again.
