Chapter 5

“Amos, what day is it” I woke up and my clock said Friday Morning at 6:15 am I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t see s**t.

“AMOS, DAMN YOU f*****g DEMON!”

“What, angel” he said with a snicker

“What day is it!”

“It’s Friday Morning, you have to leave here in 45 minutes to head to the school to start getting everything ready for Nationals today.”

“What the hell how did I miss two days? What did you put in that tea Amos?”

“I didn’t put nothing in the tea it just so happens that you were exhausted, and your body needed the rest.”

“ARE YOU SAYING THAT I SLEPT SINCE I GOT HOME ON TUESDAY AND WE HAVE CHEERLEADING COMPETION TODAY?”

“Yes, dear but you will be fine I promise now stop acting like a baby and get dressed so we can go.”

I was pissed that I have slept for 2.5 days I can’t believe I done that. I grabbed my phone and my bag and headed to the garage, when I got there Amos and Raven were waiting for me in Amos’s car.

“Hey, sleeping beauty you feel and better?” Raven asked

“Hell no, I am I supposed to feel any better when I don’t know what kind of mess I am about to step in to.”

“Woo-hoo, are you telling me you don’t trust me as the co-captain to make sure everything is in order?”

“Raven, do you want me to lie or tell you the truth?”

“You just said it all right there, I told you she was going to act like this Amos!”

“Raven, it’s not like that I promise! I am just a bit stressed.”

“Well, you can unstress me and Amos took care of everything all the teams were assigned a cheerleader and housing, and everyone had a practice yesterday and all our girls had their game uniforms on, our competition uniforms and warmup and pompoms are in the trunk we picked them up last night no-one has seen them, but Amos I didn’t even look at them.”

“Wow, Impressive I have to say you guys really do prove it to me and again I am sorry.”

We finally pull up to the school and the crowd is slowly coming in, I see my squad in game uniforms passing out the programs and getting everyone to their seats I am extremely impressed we get out and I go to grab the boxes and Amos stops me.

“Angel-face I got these why don’t you go check in with the other teams and see how they are doing.”

“Okay, I guess I can do that, I’ll tell the girls to come over in about 20 minutes we don’t perform until later anyway, but I want them to get the uniforms and warmup on.”

“I got you Amara, relax a little bit.”

I stop myself hand me mine I don’t want to go introducing myself in this getup I am the captain.”

“Okay I was going to call the girls over anyway, here is your warmups and uniform boo.”

“We are in the staff locker room so head that way with the girls.”

I hit the locker room and I get my uniform on and spell my hair and makeup and I look myself over and I look good as f**k. As I am walking out the girls start walking in and they look at me and they are like “DAMN we are going to be on fire with theses uniform thanks Amara you do a fabulous job.”

“Thanks girls anything for you, why don’t you change really fast, and we get Amos to get a team picture before we finish greeting everyone I and I have to open the event.

I decided that if I have to watch her for her father I might as well come and watch the competition that she is holding today, I haven’t seen her yet, last time I see her was Tuesday when I was watching her and she walked out of a building and her wings and manifested and she took off flying, seeing her like that made my heart skip a beat, she is most gorgeous being alive. Some pull towards her I don’t know what it is but, every time I see her my stomach get butterflies in them, and I just can’t stop thinking about her. Zadkiel told me to wait until after this weekend and then I must introduce myself because I must collaborate with the Demon to start training her until Zadkiel arrives last time I spoke to him he said that he was still looking for the location of the weapon. I hope he finds it soon.

“Callie, what are you doing her my pet!”  I look and I see Amos the demon standing there

“Amos, I am here to watch the competition, what are you doing here?” I answer him

“Tsk, Tsk, Callie you have to do better than that to convince me otherwise.”

“What do you think I am here for then, Amos!”

“I would tell me, but I am not your type of doll so I’m going to say you’re here to see Amara!” I started to blush when he said that because it was true, I only came to see her.

“Callie, when she’s done with her stuff today, I will introduce you to her, I know that you are going to be training her alongside me so better to get it done with. Maybe she will feel the same pull towards you that you feel for her. You know if I wouldn’t know any better, I would say she’s your soulmate. But who am I but just a little bitty incubus Demon?”

“Amos, what make you think I think of her like that?”

“Just the way your eyes flutter at the mention of her and how you keep looking around for her, she should be out in a few minutes so has to open the event.”

“Well thanks, do you mind if I sit with you?”

“Not at all, because who says that Demons and Angels can’t get along” he starts laughing and I giggle right alongside him. A few moments later she walks out, she took my breath away as she walked out her hair her silver and purple hair swing back in forth in her ponytail. She is so beautiful; Amos is right I want her to be my soulmate.

“Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, it is my esteemed pleasure to welcome you all to the 45th Annual College National Cheer Competition. This year we had fifteen team from fifteen different region participating, As I call the teams names, please I would like for everyone to come to the middle and get into a team formation. Please if you don’t mind,

The first team we like to welcome is the Oakridge Military Academy Lady Bears, Next we have The University of Alabama Roll Tide ladies, the next team hales from all the way in the north the University of Alaska Seawolves,  next team from the west coast as well from UCLA Bruin, the next team old world where four leaf clovers are lucky charms University of Notre Dame the fighting Irish, next team is the University of Michigan Wolverines, the next team is from Northwestern University Wild Cats, Next from Austin Texas and the University of Texas Longhorns, then from Baton Rouge, Louisiana  The Louisiana State University Tigers, Next team is all the way most southern tip of the United States the University of Miami Hurricanes, Next from the Tar Hill state we have two teams they are revivals from Duke University in Durham North Caroline we like to welcome the Duke Blue She-Devils, and the next team from Chapel Hill North Carolina would like to welcome from the University of North Carolina, the Tar Heel Ramets and last but not least hailing from her in New Hampshire and hosting this year’s competition I would like to welcome none other than the 5th time National Champion, From The Mistbrite Academy The Mistbrite RAVENS.  This year we are doing things a little differently now that I have everyone up here, I would like for everyone to please do and concise introduction cheer introducing your cheerleaders. I know everyone is in warmup. You may take them off and place them on your benches and come back to the center if you needed Poms bring them back with you. You have 3 minutes, set the timer please.
