LANES POV As I open up the gym for my customers after Maddie's session, I can't help but think about her. She is going through so much, I just wish she would talk to me. She was the first client I ever took on as a personal trainer with one on one sessions. I have never done that before. All my other clients, I trained them together, as a group. When Maddie came to me, she looked lost and broken. Her confidence had been shattered and whatever happened to her, it looked as if she didn't deserve it. I decided to do one on one with her because I felt as if she could focus better that way. She never talked about her personal life, all I knew was that she was a nurse, she was going through a divorce, and she has two teenaged boys. When I first saw her, she didn't even look old enough to have teenaged boys, maybe young children but not teenagers and after she filled out her contract and personal information, I learned that she was 32 years old, she was three years older than me. She is beautiful to say the least. She has brown hair with streaks of blonde, I honestly dont know how long her hair is because she always has it up in a ponytail when she comes in. She has dark blue eyes and gold specks around her pupils. Freckles all over her face and a darker one just above her top lip. She's super short and has a temper along with it. Do all short girls have a temper? Saying I do not have a thing for her would be a lie, I do feel something for her. She has the kindest heart but she will take up for herself or anyone else if she feels the need to, I guess that's the nurse in her or maybe just her temper... I would be lying to myself if I didn't feel something when I was close to her or when I am able to touch her. She hates those dead lifts but it's my favorite part of our session because I get to lift her up and help her down. When she put her arms around me after I helped her off the bar this morning, I wanted to hold on to her and not let go but I couldn't. I have to keep this relationship professional. She has so much going on right now and she doesn't need anymore stuff on her plate. As I was lost in thought about Maddie, my cell phone rings. I rolled my eyes as the words 'unknown caller' shows up on my screen. "Damn robo calls" I thought to myself. "Hello" I answered in an annoyed voice.....nothing. "Lane, please talk to me. Please give me another chance. I miss you" the voice on the other line begged. "Natalie?" I ask in suprise, "How did you get my cell number? I told you to never call me again" "Please just listen to me" she begged. "I'm sorry. Please just talk to me" "I told you to never call me again. You're the whole reason why I moved away. Do not contact me anymore" I hung up the phone, furious. How in the hell did she get my number??
