It had taken two days for my tail and ears to fully disappear and although they were adorable, sleeping with a tail was not fun, mainly because I had to sleep on my stomach to avoid crushing it. As Jace had predicted there was no new content for us to learn so the next few weeks we focused on mastery of the potions and spells. On my own time I practiced reading auras, lucid dreaming and under Alaric's watch, astral projection.
I was getting better at leaving and re-entering my body and after a week of practice Alaric felt I was now capable enough to no longer need his watchful aid. It helped ease Alaric's and my own nerves now that Cassandra was able to help me fashion some protective crystals and charms, any added measures to help ensure that my body wouldn't be taken over
