The animal that was making loud roars right now sounded like it was already in the vicinity, turning me pale and shaky. "Is t-that---?" Baron shrugged. "It's a different monster than the one we had seen," said Baron who was now preparing his slingshot again, ready to aim. "I haven't heard this roar before." "You can recognize the sounds they make?" I asked, totally shocked about his impressive skill. "That's a very handy skill to have!" It could make a lot of difference for us, especially that we are heading to The Lair. But my exclamation earned a warning from him again, as my voice went a little bit higher to which I silently apologized for. Baron then went on to check the field in front of us, which was pitch black, only laden with blinking lights from the mutated vegetation around.
