Elizabeth slowly walked down the alley, she crossed the barrier and briefly considered her options. Her purse, that was now much lighter, was still filled with coins and notes. She had enough for a carriage, enough for a train ticket, she doubted that it would take her far enough though.
She had no papers for traveling, the spell ingredients she had were worth something, and there was plenty there to cast a tongues spell, much like the teenage boy in the alley had used. She had read about suck charms and spells, they could be used to enhance the spell caster's charisma to the point that they could become highly persuasive.
She was lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice the long-haired vampire that had fallen into step beside her until he spoke, she jumped startled.
