The day had finally arrived. The claiming was tonight. Mari was so excited. I wish I could say the same, but now that I had found my mate I really didn't care to go to the claiming at all. We were helping clean up after breakfast in the pack house. You could feel the excitement in the air. Everyone was hurrying about doing their daily tasks as to get ready for tonight. With so many packs in attendance, one was almost assured to find their goddess given mate or at least a claimed one. It was an interesting day indeed.
