It feels like I have been running forever. I just needed to make it to this safe house. I use the key I have had for years to open the cabin door and take a look around. I see a small bathroom off to another corner. Perfect. It's not the Ritz, but it will do . There is a fireplace, a kitchen with a small table and a couple chairs. There is a simple dresser and a bed. This will definitely work well for the next few months. According to my partner the water and electric should all work. I test it out. The water comes in yellowish spurts but after running for a moment it clears up. The lights work. My current base of operations looks good to go.
I head to the bathroom so I can finally take a shower and hopefully loosen up my muscles that have been so sore in my trave
