Chapter [8]

Titus sat behind his desk doing pack work as usual his mind fogged by his thoughts. His stomach tightened and his fists clenched the pen he was holding a little to tightly. Titus’ wolf was on edge, pacing in the back of his mind growling at certain moments. He could hear the sound of heels coming down and the smell of cheap perfume grew stronger. Out of all the people here didn’t want to see it had to be her, the one women he despised with all his heart. The door slowly creaked open revealing a red haired woman wearing a skin tight black dress. Her heels complimented her long tan legs making them seem endless. She had on dark red lipstick that match her hair. Her cooper eyes reflected the light perfectly, enhancing the sharp features of her face. Everything about the woman standing in front of Titus screamed elegance if only the inside of her matched the outside. 

“Did you miss me babe?” The woman said walking closer to Titus’ desk. “Hell would have to freeze over before I’ll ever miss you Saraphina” Titus said giving Saraphina a pointed glare. “Come on you can’t still be mad about that Ti.” Saraphina rolling her eyes. "Oh your right I can’t be mad about the fact you cheated on me and tried to use me for my title” Titus said his hands turning into fist unintentionally. “I didn’t just use you for your Alpha title the s*x was great too” Sara send him a flirtatious wink after her statement. “Do you real not have any remorse for what you did?” Titus asked. “Why would I?” Saraphina answered flipping her hair behind her shoulders. The story behind Saraphina and Titus was a complicated one. Sarah was Titus’ ex girlfriend, she was his first kiss, his first love, his first everything. Even if it was something he was suppose to save for his mate.

Titus promised after he met his mate he would break up with Sara but when he didn’t Titus and Saraphina continued on with their relationship and discovered her true intentions. One day he caught Saraphina sleeping with the pack’s manwhore, Titus was heart broken he loved Saraphina deeply. She wasn’t even sorry about what she had done. In Sara’s eyes she never loved him he was just a weak pathetic kid who she was using to get what she wanted. All she wanted was power. Luckily Sara left I her own, and Titus didn’t have to ban her. “Let’s just say I’m a girl who know what she wants.” Saraphina said. Sarah got up from her chair and walk up close to Titus’ desk and took a seat on top of the table. She reached out and ran her long polished nail seductively up and down his chest. 

Titus was repulsed by her touch and his wolf was barking at someone who wasn’t his mate touching him. Titus forcefully gripped Sara’s hand and moved it off his chest. Titus would have never used force on a woman but Saraphina wasn’t a woman she was a snake. “Leave my office now” Titus said pissed off Sara would even try to seduce him like he would fall for her trick again. “You know you want me babe, remember all the times we had s*x in your office you use to love to bend me over your desk” Saraphina grabbed the sides of his collar. The door of his office swung open revealing an angry Kare. “Leave Blyth al-“ Kare was about yell but when she saw Titus with Sara her rage sky rocketed. “Oh hell no you try to get with my f**k now your about to f**k the first w***e you get your filthy f*****g hands on” Kare screamed. “Leave Blyth the f**k alone you’re are not going to use my friend for your own damn sick pleasure you bastard”

“Kare I assure you what ever you think you saw you’re wrong” Titus said pushing Sara off him and got up from office chair. “Please what ever you’re gonna tell me is a lie your a f*****g disgrace to the damn Alpha title, Blyth is innocent she doesn’t deserve your f****d up ass” Kare said. Titus wasn’t upset about Kare’s comment about his Alpha title he was upset about her saying he wasn’t enough for his mate. “You have no right to intrude into my person and you will not tell me what to do” Titus ordered. Yet the young wolf was not backing even though she was an omega challenging an Alpha this was a fight she believed she could win. “When it comes to my best friend it does” Kare said. At this point the Alpha and Omega were fighting head to head. Kare wasn’t backing down not only was she standing up for  her friend she was defending Luna. “Are you done yet because we were kinda in middle of something little girl” Saraphina stated blankly staring at her nails. “Shut up Sara” Titus growl turning around to look a her. “Yeah you better get your birch before I get her” Kare said giving Saraphina the stink eye. “You couldn’t even beat me with both my hands tied behind my back you have omega stink pour back” Saraphina s**t back. “Both of you stop it” Titus stop the two from bickering like children. “Sara get the f**k out of my office now!” Titus yelled pointing at the door. Sara didn’t put up a fight she simply rolled her eyes and exited the room. 

“Kare I don’t feel like arguing with you but I can’t stay away from Blyth because she’s my mate“ Titus said messaging his head. The fury that was once burning inside Kare’s slowly diminished. “So Blyth tour mate and you decided to f**k some slut on your desk wow your such a great mate” Kare said sarcastically. “I wasn’t trying to sleep with Saraphina she was trying to seduce me” Titus said. “Sure” Kare said bluntly. “Listen here you may be my alpha but Blyth is my best friend if you do anything to hurt her I will make your life a living hell and that’s a promise I will keep to the day I die Titus Grey” Kare said seriousness taking over her face. Even though Kare and Blyth just had a fight didn’t mean Kare stopped caring. All she was trying to do was protect Blyth from getting hurt. Kare knew about Titus’ history with women. How he uses them for his own pleasure then tosses them to the curb like trash. “That will not happen she is my mate and I will do everything in my power to make sure she’s happy” Titus reassured her. “You better or else” Kare said then walked out the door.
