Chapter 14
Once they returned to the city, the settled in to a semi normal life. Cole returned to work and Tarsha spent her days with the baby, either painting or looking for a new home for the family. His apartment was made much more cheerful by the presence of Tarsha and the child. He did not object to any changes that she made in attempt to make their temporary home a happy one for the child.
He even encouraged her when she decided that the baby’s nursery should be painted to look like the mountain. During their first weeks of marriage, she worked hard on the murals in the room, trying to make sure that Mason had a piece of the mountain and the tribe with him even if he was going to grow up far away from them.
