In a weird place

Chapter 10

Cheyenne pov

When I felt like i was being laid down on a bed. It felt weird but comfortable. I tried to touch the fabric. It felt soft but I couldn't feel anything else. I tried to see who this woman was that carried me here. I knew her from somewhere. Then it hit me the sense I was being watched during training. It was her. But I felt like I could trust her. I didn't want to. Right now I do not trust anyone. She took my shirt and pants off. For a second I didn't know what she was doing. But she told me she was just trying to help me. I felt her clean me up some. And then I felt something weird. I tried to open my eyes to see what she was doing. But they were too swollen. I was in so much pain I just wanted to die. My ribs were broken. I know that for a fact. They were looking out from my side. My voice box was crushed. I couldn't talk. And my head was hurting so much I just wanted to go ahead and bash it in. My fingers and one of my arms were broken. They did a number on me. That b***h tried to choke me. And she hit like a b***h. She did good at kicking but the girl could not hit worth of s**t. I tried linking Mercury and letting him know. But I just couldn't because my head was hurting too much. I felt something very painful. My bones were being healed and put back together. I rose to scream. I thought it was painful before. This was a lot more than that. I felt my bones hearing and snapping back together. My voice box was healed. And it hurt like a b***h when it happened. Then the pain stopped. She told me she was going to clean me up some more. I felt the coldness of the water that was on the cloth on my bare skin. I didn't feel so sticky anymore. I knew it was my blood she was cleaning off of me. When I woke up. I didn't know if it was day or night or even what day it was. My head was hurting so badly but I tried to sit up and look around. I could open my eyes just a little bit. I saw I was inside some kind of hut. I wanted to talk. I just didn't want to right now if that made any sense at all. I laid back down then I felt the pain again in my head like my skull was being put back together. I screamed out just wanting all this pain to stop. It was hurting so badly. I passed out again from all the pain that my body was going through.

Mercury was in his office. He had been looking for this guy that he knew was close by. He had to get the address he was leaving tonight. He mind-linked Hawk and Spike and his son. It was time to leave. Once they were all outside. His son asked him if he had heard from Cheyenne his mother.

"She is just probably spending time with Ace. She did say they were going to go on a trip in a few days. That's probably what is going on."

His son shook his head sighing.

"Dad. She usually calls me and my sisters if she was going to go away like that."

I know he was worried I could tell by the look on his face. And that made me worry.

"Alright. When we get done tonight. And get home. I'll give her a call or I'll head over to Aces back and see what is going on. I'm sure she is fine." he watched his son nod. And get in the car. Strangely, she hasn't even called him. She usually calls once a week to see how he is doing. That made him and his wolf and lycan worry. Okay. After this job. I'll head over there the hell with going right home.

Holly made it home just in time to see Mercury head out. He mind-linked her and told her he will be late coming home tonight. He didn't bother telling her why. She would just get pissed and start an argument. He drove off in a hurry. She parked the car and got out. This was her chance to get the hell out of there. She rushed inside and packed all her things. It took hours to get her clothes and other items into her car. She went into the office. She knew he had money in this office. She knew of a safe. She went to a photo on the wall and removed it. There it was. She knew the combination. Opened the safe and took all the money out. She didn't know how much was inside that safe. She had to open two bags to put all of it in there. Closing the safe and placing the photo back up on the wall she ran out of the house with the two bags. She threw them in the trunk and sped off. She needed to be someplace safe. When all hell breaks loose. When Ace kills Mercury she knew everyone was going to be in an uproar. She drove until she couldn't drive anymore. She knew Ace will be here soon. She would wait to hear from Ace. He had already packed and everything was in his trunk. He was getting rid of Mercury tonight. He placed a bomb under the house where the man was staying. All he had to do was set it off.
