We only had a week until midterms; this semester went by so quickly. Probably because I missed an entire month. Adonis, Jacob, Asher, and I were all in the training room as Adonis continued my lesson. I still hadn’t forgiven him after he let me get captured, but I need his help to pass this class.
Thankfully he’s kept it all business. We had just finished reading and were now on to practicing new spells. Last week we each had to present on a spell we invented, and now the rest of the class has to do everyone’s spell for our midterm.
Since the class is so hard, most of them have dropped, leaving only ten students, plus Jacob. The teacher let Jacob use a spell she invented to keep his cover, and it’s probably the only nice thing she’s done for me all semester.
