60. Freedom Of Walking

It’s been a few weeks since the party, and we were falling into a good groove. But today. Today is the first day I’m allowed to walk again. Dr. Saxi took off my cast and bandage, and I swore to never wear shorts again. The gash was just below my knee and covered the entire front part. I have to take it easy, but I never knew I’d be so thankful to walk. Lia has read at least 100 books and asked her brother to do some research for her too. It’s actually pretty cool; he’ll find a book that might help and warp it directly to her. She’s been buried in books every day, and I really appreciate everything she’s doing to help me. I explained how it felt when I try to shift to Lia for the thousandth time at breakfast this morning. I know she’s just trying to help, so I went over everything again
