By the time we trudged to the clearing in the woods, I was soaked with sweat and smelling of tiredness. The kids were in high spirits and kept taking pictures non-stop despite several warnings that there'll be no electricity in the woods. When we finally got to the clearing, Ms Heather in her usual gruff manner observed all the campers coming in and would once in a while write something down in her small book that was wedged in the crook of her elbow. Besides her, I spotted Nita looking so refreshed and relaxed sipping a glass of Sangria obviously she came with her aunt who I am sure must have used the jeep parked at one corner of the clearing.
