They clashed each other and neither of them manages to land a hit. They both have this radiant smile on their faces. Either way they are both winners
Then the Elite manages to throw off guard Samantha. With a stab in the stomach the match is decided. The Elite won
"She is going to be okay right?" Aaron seems worried.
"Don't worry she is going to be fine”.
"We can go to the infirmary if you like" I said.
We hurried down and check Samantha.
"You did well my daughter" Aaron seems proud of her daughter's performance.
"Excuse me Sir we need to patch up her wounds" Sarah said.
We both waited outside and watched the finals. After some time, Samantha went outside and joined us.
"You don't have to get up already" Aaron seems worried.
"I can handle this. I am tough after all" Samantha said while flexing.
"Shall we head back?" I asked.
"It is closer here."
"We must stay" Aaron said.
We continued watching the final from the entrance of the infirmary. The battle is extremely hot. The battle of the best and only one can come out victorious. We are all tingling with excitement and thrill as the battle intensifies.
After some time, they all looked exhausted and some barely stand but the mood is still fiery. The knights carefully observed their opponents as they take a breath. Then one of them made the move and strike several knights down.
The crowd goes wild as the battle closes in. We are all at the edge of our seats. Only three contenders left and looks like neither of them wants to make the first move. Then the Elite charges one
The Elite's attack was blocked then the other contender us about finish him off. Using his second blade he blocks the attack. They give all their might just to land a finishing hit and looks like the Elite cannot hold it.
The Elite then used his opponent’s strength against them. We withdrew his blades and falls back. The two knights crashed into each other. The Elite made his finishing blow and struck the two knights.
The crowd goes wild as the matched is set. The Elite dropped down in his knees from exhaustion. The confetti are fired and Draxx declared the winner. As soon as all the knights are patched up Draxx announced the ranking.
"Tell me Chris"
"What is this ranking for?" Aaron asked.
"Well, we have this ranking to motivate the students to perform better”.
"They also have a chance to earn one of this is they finished on top" I showed a fragment.
"What you are seriously giving away such precious stones" Aaron seems surprised.
"You see those stones are very valuable and you just have them as compensation."
"If they are worthy why not" I said.
Aaron seems thinking about something.
"Papas are you staying here for a while?" Samantha asked.
"Yes, my dear all my appointments are cancelled and now I have the luxury of time”.
"In that cases why not a tour in the academy" Samantha proposed.
"But Sam we don't have any attractions inside campus" I said.
"It's fine Chris."
"I just want to bond with my daughter more."
"You see back in Citadel I am always busy with work and I don't spend time with Samantha."
"Where is Sam's mother by the way?"
They looked gloomy suddenly.
"We were killed."
"I am so sorry for asking."
"No, it's better to let you know”.
"Two years ago, our city is under surge of demons and only my wife has the knowledge to use the precious stones."
"She solely defends the city from those savage beasts, and she pulled it off, but it cost her, her life."
"With her dying breath she manages to tell me that I should take care of all the stones and learn how to use its powers"
"Now I enrolled Samantha here because I heard about the news that a new academy is built, and an Elemental user is managing it and I was correct."
"Don't worry about your daughter as long as she is here nothing bad is going to happen trust me”.
"If that's the case why not our cities form an alliance?"
"Our city just like yours is known for harnessing the power of precious stones."

I lead the way to my office.
Aaron and we walked towards my office. The moment we entered the room the atmosphere changes. I closed the door shut.
"Tell me Aaron"
"Why do you want to form an alliance?"
"What your reason tells me" questions I raised.
"You see Chris."
"I want to strengthen the bond between us Elemental user."
"The demons are making their moves against humanity once more."
"If you could just go with me at my mansion, I can explain everything."
"Why not explain everything to me now"

"Only my city Elder said this to me. I haven't entered the chamber myself."
"He said that a man who is generous enough to give such precious stones will surely open the chamber's doors."
"So, I tried distributing my wife's fragments thinking I am the chosen one."
"But you are wrong and now you want me to try opening the doors for you?"
"Yes, Chris please help us”.
"Okay I will"
"We will go later. I still have things to settle here."
"Thank you, Chris how could I ever repay, you" Aaron said as he shakes my hand.
"You can repay me soon enough."
"Now I must go."
I left the room and immediately find the other instructors. I told everything to them, and I appointed Draxx as my substitute if I am away. After that is settled, I went back to Aaron and we went on our way. We immediately travelled to Citadel.
On our way there I had this feeling that something is wrong. I asked the driver to step on it. We have no time to waste. We reached the Citadel's territory and the scenario we saw shocked us.
The city is under attack. I exited the vehicle and with lightning-fast speed I burst to the city. I summoned my Divine Beasts and tried stopping the demons. Then I noticed something, so I tried chasing it. It led me to a weird looking room. I pry open the doors and I saw an old man which I assume to be dead.
I entered the room then I saw this lady.
