“That’s its mortal fear me” Calderas said
“I’ll leave this to you Calderas.”
“Don’t go easy on him. I want his fragment as soon as Asmodeus and I arrived” Satan said then a pillar of flame consumed him.
“Tell me your name mortal” Calderas said.
Aaron seems to be speechless.
“Speak mortal or I shall end you and everyone else lives” Calderas threatened.
Aaron did not even bother saying a word. Calderas waited for several minute, but Aaron’s fear took the best of him. Calderas is pissed of Aaron’s attitude, so he charges an enormous ball of fire. At maximum power Calderas fired it towards the city
“Solar flare!” Aaron casted a spell that made a huge explosion
Calderas blew off the smoke and dust revealing the scorching crater.
“So, you canceled my distractive power with your distractive power.”
“Impressive” Calderas complimented
Aaron started breathing heavily as he clenches his chest.
“One more attack like that and we are screwed” thought inside Aaron’s head.
Aaron looks around and saw everyone busy defending the city.
“Calderas hear me!” Aaron shouted.
“Oh, you can speak.”
“I thought you’re voiceless” Calderas seems surprised.
“Okay mortal speaks” Calderas said.
“I’ll face you with all I’ve got “
“I will surely give you a great battle but in one condition” Aaron proposed.
“You personally know you have no match for me, right?”
“Tell me can you match Zadkiel’s speeds and strength?” Calderas asked.
“I don’t know him, but I am certain of my skills can top yours or my allies will never live to tell my tale” Aaron said.
“So, what is it you want me to bargain?” Calderas asked.
“Spare their lives” Aaron said
“Sorry mortal but that isn’t your call.”
“Even if I tried holding back my destructive power is still immeasurable” Calderas informed.
Aaron then blasted Caldera with a ray of light, and it struck the dragon’s face.
“How rude, can’t you see I am not done talking.”
Several more rays blasted Calderas. Calderas took off and it seems it is heading towards the central battlefield.
“Divine Solstice” Aaron casted then a ray of divine light came down from the heaven that strike down the Calderas.
“Instead of flying away why not face me you overgrown lizard” Aaron said.
“Okay mortal I’ll play with you” Calderas said as he shook his head.
“Radiant Javelins” Aaron casted
Divine light shaped like spears were fired towards Calderas.
“Burn” Calderas said then the breaths fire.
Aaron used his shield to block it. As soon as he removes the shield in front of him an enormous ball of fire is heading straight at him. The ball of fire directly hit Aaron creating an explosion. Calderas flew then blows the smoke away.
“Amusing” Calderas said as he saw a barrier made of light.
“Solar flare” Aaron casted
A ray of divine light burst through the barrier striking Calderas down. With extreme speed Aaron dashes towards the plummeting dragon
“May the sword of cleansing light purify you” Aaron said as he slashes the demon.
Aaron’s attack seems have no effect on Calderas. Calderas then flap his wings sending Aaron flying. Calderas took of then chase Aaron.
“Entertain me more mortal.”
“Show me what you are made of” Calderas said as he attempts on devouring Aaron.
“Radiant Javelins” Aaron casted
Calderas then breaths fire. Calderas flaps his wings softening Aaron’s landing.
“A commend me for your effort mortal but no mortal has the strength to pierce through my skin.”
“Only the horn of Kirin was able to stop me” Calderas informed
Aaron seems to be worn out. Slowly his gears started to fade.
“Stand up mortal, you haven’t meet expectations yet you already crumble.”
“If you don’t act now, you, your allies, and the rest of the mortals in the city shall burn” Calderas said.
Calderas charges an all-out attack targeting the city. Aaron watches desperately as he has no more strength to move.
“God if you can hear me please answer my prayer.”
“Give me strength!” Aaron prayed.
Calderas fires the beam that incinerated everything in its path but a narrow ray of light splits it into two saving everyone on the battlefield and behind the city walls. Calderas’ attack continued for several minutes until it subsided.
“Blinding light” an angelic voice said.
Then a spark of light blinded anyone that laid their eyes on it
“Final Spark” the angelic voice said.
The narrow light that split Calderas attack then exploded. Demons were wiped out from the central battlefield and somehow weaken the remaining demons. As soon as the spark of light subsided a figure resembling an angel wearing a full armor of light, a shield, a sword, and divine light shrouding it.
Calderas is still blind from the previous attack, but it manages to recover.
“Solar Flare” the angel casted
A ray of divine light blasted Calderas sending him flying. The angel then burst straight in and tried splitting the dragon in half but still his attack did not budge.
“Even with divine blessing it seems I don’t stand a chance” the angel said, and he seems to be exhausted.
“An angel, I personally thought you’re extinct.”
“By the looks of it you’re barely holding on.”
“Even the Archangel Gabriel will never attempt to cast such foolish spells” Calderas said.
“I don’t care about your opinion as long as I did my part.”
“You can finish me off now.”
: I have no more regrets; I did give you a decent fight, right?” the angel said as his gears vanishes.
“My, my I didn’t expect you were an angel in disguised.”
“Well, you did knock me down several times and I commend you for that, but you barely scratched me.”
“Oh well I guess a blessed mortal isn’t much a threat after all” Calderas said.
“Any last word before I end your life?” Calderas asked.
“Just do your part of the bargain” Aaron said.
“Granted” Calderas said then the breaths fire directly at Aaron.
“I’ll leave it up to you” Aaron said without a single hint of regret.
“Now mortal surrender yourself to me and I shall spare your life.”
“I could even give you power beyond your wildest dreams.”
“Just say yes” Asmodeus said as she licks Solomon’s face.
