TAHLIA~ With a heart pounding in my chest, I inched forward, my muscles tense as I peered into the churning abyss beneath me. The sound of water. Darkness. There was no way to make out where the rocky walls of the gorge ended and the water began. Basically, I could see nothing, only the sound of it. If it hadn’t been for the odd glimmer in the water I wouldn’t even be able to tell if my eyes were open or closed. The bizarre light of the thunderstorm across the sky acted as the sole source of light which would fade just about every time it appeared.
