"Adam is the strong one, I'm not him  and I can't be strong until he wakes up he needs to forgive me father, he needs to".

"David listen to me, he growled his patient running thin "right now the only thing, we need to focus on is Adam getting well, and that's means you need to shower have something to eat and go to that hospital and be with him"

"I can't, every time I see his face I feel more guilty, I know it's my fault, he took a bullet for me even when he was heartbroken and angry with me, he still valued my life more than his, he should have let me die I don't deserve him"

"Thanks dad" I said, going to our bedroom were Adam scent was still lingered, I took his pillow and sniffed hard as tears fell from my eyes, I went and had a shower and change of clothes, had a sandwich and a glass of milk and went to the infirmary

I got in his room, and he looked peaceful and still handsome as the day I met him

The tears started falling at the side of Adam hooked to machines I went to the chair next to the bed and sat there just holding his hand.

"Baby I'm so sorry" I kept repeating over and over again because that's all that seemed to come out, I don't know how long I stayed there but I woke up when the doctor came in to check on him.

"Doc, how is he today?" I asked with hopeful eyes thinking maybe today will be different!

"He's still in critical condition, but I'm did my best to stop the internal bleeding, now is his turn to fight for his life".
