Chapter- 16

16. "You don't have any idea on how long I am waiting to taste your lips"

"Hey Sid, we are going to a pub on next Saturday. Do you want to join us," Gautham asked him when they are discussing their plans for the holiday?

"If I am free then I will join," he replied for namesake. But Siddharth won't go there. He is having a lot of plans on this holiday, and added to that drinking alcohol is not the best thing for a sports person, and considering his family he won't do that even in his dreams. 

But Siddharth was not a person to avoid the enjoyment totally. Last year all five of them went on a trip to Kodaikanal. It was a memorable trip to him.

After telling goodbyes Siddharth headed to the house and it has become almost evening when he reached. He entered the hall carrying his books and bag, his mom was in a hurry to leave.

"Oh, Siddharth I have been waiting for you. I am leaving to see dad, Laksh and Shiv were studying, look after them until we arrive." She told him.

"Mom, what happened? Why you are rushing?"

"Nothing, dad just called me to his office. Someone has arrived to visit him and he wanted me to be with him." She said and left.

Siddharth carrying his bag went up. He took his mobile to check the time and that showed the time is 6.10 pm. He doesn't want to disturb his siblings but today morning Lakshmi asked him to buy chocolate for her and he is having that in his bag. So taking that as an excuse he went to see them since Siddharth having an unconditionally love on his sister.

Once he neared the study room he heard a familiar voice and his heart raced when he realized to it belongs. He pushed himself into the room to find his girlfriend talking with his siblings. Oh god, what a scene!

"Roshini?" Siddharth called out her name in a confusion.

Roshini turned to see him and she looked very shocked. Siddharth can't understand what is happening here.

"Akka this is my brother Siddharth, do you know him?" Lakshmi asked her and Roshini dumbfounded to answer her question.

After twenty days they are meeting now, they thought that they are not going to meet in this holidays but destiny has tied them to be together.

Sometimes something that we wish to happen, even knowing that it won't happen will occur unexpectedly in our life. Not in every situation, but at times we wish deeply yet secretly in our heart and remain like we didn't.

Though Roshini doesn't want to meet him in this holiday but inside she secretly yearned to see Siddharth. And now god has granted her wish more than what she expected.

"Roshini what you are doing here?" he asked and came in front of her.

"She is our new tutor," Shiva said to him.

"How?"

"Actually my Aunt was the one who is tutoring before. She is going to Bangalore for few months so she asked me to fulfill her spot until she come." Roshini said to him and Siddharth still can't able believe that.

"Oh." he told.

"Do you know her Sid?" Lakshmi asked him.

"Yeah I know her," "And... I will put the chocolates on your table," he told.

"You continue," he said to Roshini and she smiled at him. Siddharth left the room with a smirk on his face.

"Which year you are?" Shiva asked her. These two are really interrogating Roshini like a police officer.

"I am second year."

"Oh... Then he is your senior," he smiled and Roshini still can't able to come out of the shock.

Today they asked her to teach Math and she taught them consciously. She cleared their each and every doubts in a friendly tone and soon they both started talking with her like she is their friend.

Siddharth didn't come after that, Roshini thought why they are appointing tutor while having an intelligent brother like him. And many questions lined in her mind like why he is being a mystery to everyone? 

Anyways do your duty Roshini, don't think about him!

"In which time I have to leave Lakshmi?"

"Usually ma'am will leave us at 7.45 or 8.00pm. It is your wish Akka," she replied.

"From tomorrow onwards let's start studying at 5.30 pm so that I can leave earlier okay?" she asked them in a hesitation but they happily agreed for that.

Thank god, they are sweet! She thought and looked at her watch to find the time is 7.50 pm.

That time Siddharth entered the room. He looked at Roshini with a small smile.

"Hey, how she is tutoring?"

"She is too good," Shiva instantly replied to his question.

"Okay I think it is enough for today," he said looking Roshini.

Understanding him Roshini said, "Then bye Laksmi, Shiva. We will see tomorrow," Roshini waved her hand.

She walked out of the room, along with Siddharth, Lakshmi and Shiva. 

"Bye Akka," they both said and headed to their rooms.

Siddharth walked with her. She doesn't know what to speak to him, her words were jammed along with her confusions.

"Roshini," he called once they reached the entrance of their house.

"Umm?"

"Don't be surprised about anything, and don't tell anything about me to anyone." he asked her.

"Sure I wont."

"I am glad to see you here. We will talk about everything tomorrow, you are getting late." He said to her and Roshini left the place.

Nidhi felt sleepy after watching a movie so she laid on the couch and closed her eyes.

Before she could fully immerse into the sleep she heard a knock on the door.

She lazily went to see who it was and surprised to see Varun in front of her.

"Varun, what you want?" she asked him and he came in without minding her question.

Nidhi was wearing a shirt and knee length shorts. She left her shoulder-length hair free without tying. She felt so awkward to show this side of her to him.

Varun gazed her from head to toe. "Close the door," he said like an order and that did something in the pit of her stomach.

What he wants now? She questioned and did what he said.

"No one is there in my house too, all went to my sister in laws house," Varun told.

"So?" 

"Be my company," he told.

"Varun, it is not a good idea," she told and he came near her.

"What type of dress is this, don't you wear something to cover fully."

"Hey this is what I wear in the weekend, what is your problem in that," she said folding her hands across her chest.

"You don't understand anything," he chuckled and went into her room.

"Varun, leave what if someone comes?"

"No one will come, stop fearing and come here." he sat on her bed and asked her to sit beside him.

Nidhi first hesitated but she eventually gave in.

She had an unknown trust on Varun that he will never cross his limit.

"Where are your parents? I noticed your dad’s car was not there?"

"They went to Kerala for attending a marriage function."

"Oh, okay."

"How was your exam?"

"Hmm fine, I did well this time," she replied and looked down.

Then an awkward silence Varun slowly moved close to her and suddenly put his hand around her shoulders. Nidhi didn't showed her shock and remained calm.

"Nidhu.... do you really love me?" 

She looked at him like almost glaring.

"What type of question is this?" "Okay then answer my question, do you really love me?"

"If I don't love you then why I am going to chase after you. 

From the moment I saw you, I myself can't stop falling in love with you Nidhu.

Whenever I fight with I feel so angry at myself. But how can you still love me and forgive me for all the mistakes I did?"

"Because I love you more Varun. You may have flaws but that was attracted me, then how can I hate you Varun," she told looking into his eyes.

Hearing that Varun yanked her close to him and hugged her very tightly. After some time she wiggled to break the hug but he didn't allow her

so she stayed in his embrace for few more minutes

Varun pulled out and looked her face, her lips. He slowly leaned to kiss her. But Nidhi backed off.

"Varun! It is not the right thing." She seemed to be so shocked.

"Everything is right between you and me," he whispered near her lips.

Varun slowly took her lips with his, the first taste of his kiss really allured Nidhi, she felt goosebumps in her and heart throbbed so abnormally.

Varun pulled her waist close to him and intensified the kiss by sliding his tongue into her, he started kissing her feverishly. She curled her toes and her fist clutched his shirt. She felt something different in her.

She doesn't know how it will feel while we kiss and now Varun taught her clearly.

She pushed to breathe and he left her the next moment. She looked down feeling so awkward to face him. 

When she again raised her gaze, Varun pulled her for another kiss. This time Nidhi tried to kiss him back and Varun enjoyed his first kiss with a girl he was deeply in love with. He left her lips and gazed her face, blushing Nidhi immediately hugged him to hide her embarrassment.

"I love you, let's get married soon," he told and that shocked Nidhi even more.

What happened to him now?

"What, that soon?"

"Yeah, before I do something stupid to you, let's get married soon okay," Nidhi's cheeks started burning.

It seemed really odd to Nidhi. The headstrong, distance maintaining Varun today kissed me! Whether someone banged his head with something to be sweet with me, she thought and ended up confused like always.
