Chapter- 17

17. "You are attracting me effortlessly!!"

The morning sunshine disturbed Nidhi's peaceful sleep. She covered fully on the sheets still feeling a comfort to stay like that and the silence pleased her to sleep even more.

In that heavenly state, she remembered about yesterday kiss that made her sleepless the entire night. Varun totally intoxicated her innocent brain with his kiss.

She is still can't able to figure out what happened to him all of a sudden.

After that kiss, Varun stayed with her for some time talking about where to go in this holiday. Though Varun was busy, he insisted on going to the trip to Ooty since it is just two and half hours travel from Coimbatore. But Nidhi felt it will be colder there and there lies a big problem on how Nidhi going to ask permission from her mom.

Coming Saturday they planned to go and he asked her to be ready at 8.00 am in the morning. It is just a day trip and now she was thinking about a valid lie to go with him

What to say and how to ask? She thought in her half sleep.

Thinking about this her peace gone. She got up from her bed and looked at her phone to find the time is 8.17 am in the morning.

To that, there is a message from Roshini.

Good morning

What are you doing?

She stood up from the bed pushing the sheets away from her. She went to the restroom to finish her chores.

Nidhi had an oscillation whether to go with him or not.

Ah... Soon you are going to be in the mental hospital, she scolded herself for being in this confused state not only today, every day for everything there is a hesitation, lot of thinking and Ended up being stupid. When comparing to other people why I am so poor in making my decisions she thought and felt dizzy.

When she came out of the restroom her mom was busy leaving to the work.

"Nidhi, breakfast, and lunch are there. Eat everything without wasting. If you want anything money is there and buy whatever you want."

"Hmm, okay," she replied.

"Mom I am planning to go on a trip with my friends. Can I go?" she asked looking down.

"To where?"

"Ooty" "one-day trip, I will be back here in the evening mom."

"Okay, when you are going?"

"Coming Saturday with my school friends and Roshini also coming along with me," she lied in a guilt.

"Okay, ask dad also," she said and went out of the house.

Nidhi felt like jumping. She knows her dad will also say yes. Finally, route cleared.✌

She immediately phoned Roshini.

"Hey, let's met today."

"Yeah I too wanted to meet you," Roshini said in the same enthusiasm.

"Okay, I will come to your house," Nidhi suggested.

"No, no I will come there, it is too boring here," Roshini said.

Nidhi then went to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. She prepared it with extra sugar and came out to drink sitting on the couch.

That time her phone ringed, she noticed it was from Varun. So she went out of the house and looked for her Romeo who is all dressed up in a crisp white shirt that perfectly giving a clear view of his broad shoulders line and biceps that were neatly tugged into his black trousers.

He effortlessly attracted her with a small glimpse of a smile.

Wow, what a great morning view she thought and smiled eventually.

He signaled her to attend the phone call and she did.

"Did you slept well yesterday?"

Nidhi smiled again looking at him, and for his question since she doesn't know what to answer.

"What about you?" she questioned.

"I didn't that is why I asked you," he told to her.

"Same here," she blushed.

"Then Let's be sleepless whenever we can okay?" he meant it in a different way and Nidhi understanding him, hummed as okay.

"Bye, today I am going to attend a case in place of my senior lawyer," Nidhi looked there are some files and black coat on his arms.

"Oh then All the best," she said to him giving a thumbs up.

Varun smiled and ended the call. After he left Nidhi remembered that she forgot to tell him that she got permission from her mom.

She went back to her house and enjoyed her coffee.

When Nidhi was folding her bedsheets Roshini came into her room.

"Hey, Nidhi. I have to tell you something?" Roshini said the next moment when she saw Nidhi.

"Why? What happened?" she asked.

Roshini was really a pitiful human being. She was controlling her excitement, the eureka effect of finding about Siddharth.

"You know what, yesterday I went for home tutoring right? That is none other than Siddharth house."

"What???" Nidhi said in a shock.

"Yeah, he is having a twin brother and sister. And the main important thing is... He is rich, really very rich."

Nidhi can't come out of the shock. She looks her knotting her eyebrows and Roshini sat on her bed.

"You know Vikranth?" Nidhi thought for a moment and nodded her head as yes.

"Siddharth was his son," she finished.

"Oh... But I heard he is having only a sister and his family were living in abroad."

"That is all rumors, I heard he is having one little brother and his family were not that rich and he is pretending to be like that so he is famous and all. But he is actually a famous person, other than that everything is untrue, maybe he created all these rumors to avoid every attention he gets when people know about his background."

"Hmm I understood, but what he said when he met you?"

"Nothing big, he just asked me to keep that as a secret," Roshini huffed.

"Oh, then do it as he said," Nidhi said and sat beside her.

"By the way, why did you call me here?"

"Roshini I am going to do something big," Nidhi turned to face her.

"What is that?" Roshini dreaded in fear.

"I am going on a trip with Varun, this coming Saturday, and I lied to my mom that you were also coming along with me," Nidhi said.

"So that, if my mom calls you or any kind of suspicion arises here you have to help me, Roshan," she told holding her hand.

"Hmm okay, I will help," she said with a smile.

"Oh thank you," she pinched her cheeks.

Then the two girls started discussing their plans. Nidhi detailed about her trip to Ooty and Roshini told her excitement on going to be near with Siddharth.

Nidhi had her breakfast and she compelled Roshini to have the food with her. But she said that she already ate.

Both of them doesn't have a sibling to share their feelings that were deep inside their hearts, Roshini can't share these kinds of things with her brother Karthik and Nidhi can't reveal her love to mom.

So they both are a comfort for each other to share their secrets.

After some time of talking and discussing their love, Roshini decided to leave and Nidhi allowed her.

But they planned to go water theme park next weekend since Nidhi got two free passes for that.

Roshini came out of the house and sun was brightly shining over her head. Today it was so hot.

Please god, shower your love through the rain, she prayed while walking.

We people pray for so many things in our life. Most of our prayers were only based on our personal needs. But just for a minute we never thought to pray for this nature. Perhaps this is was what we cultivated through our sixth sense and technology.

After she reached her house she went straight to her room. Roshini threw her shawl aside and laid on her bed.

Everything seemed to be surprising and new for Roshini. Nidhi's love, about Siddharth and this tutoring.

She felt it is too much for her at a time. Soon Roshini tossed to sleep thinking about this.

"Ayo, I am late," she told to herself when she was running to Siddharth house.

She woke up at 5.00 in the evening when her mom lightly slapped her across her face. Getting ready at a high-speed Roshini took some time to apply makeup and the bus was little late too. Overall it is almost 6.00 pm now and she is getting late.

Once she entered the compound the security looked her questioningly.

"I came here for tutoring," she told to that middle-aged security and he nodded his head with a smile.

She scurried to the house and it was wide open. She entered after removing her slippers. She hesitantly stepped in and suddenly she was startled to see Siddharth emerged from the kitchen with a coffee cup, and some snack pack.

He was talking to someone on the phone and when he noticed Roshini he took the phone from his ears and ended the call saying I will call you later.

"Hi," he greeted.

"Hi," Roshini doesn't know what to say further. She looked at him, he was wearing a blue t-shirt and black sweatpants. Even in this, he didn't fail to attract Roshini.

And Roshini was wearing a Red salwar and braided her neatly.

"Do you want some?" he asked her reaching out the snacks.

"No thanks," she told and looked down. Stupid guy

"They are waiting for you in upstairs," he said to her and headed to the staircase.

He went to his room and Roshini felt like he is avoiding her in the house. She went into the study room, and they waved their hand when they saw her.

"Sorry I am late," she apologized.

"It is okay Akka, Siddharth said that you will arrive shortly," they told and she can't understand what is that mean.

Whether he was waiting for me? Her heart questioned still knowing that is only her hope and will happen only in her dreams.

In the middle of tutoring, Siddharth entered the room. Her heart raced and she controlled her smile to her best level.

He stood near her and turned the pages of his brother's science book.

"Roshini where is your house?" he asked.

"Two stops away from here."

"Oh." his siblings were not minded about him and continued what they are doing

Roshini felt uncomfortable to stand there beside him and tried to avoid his closeness as much as possible.

Then Siddharth went out and Roshini thought why he came here?
