His order was off. Whatever he said wasn’t right, his brain emphasized it’s mistrust.  And yet she stayed quiet. A lift in her brow seemed hopeful but he couldn’t count on just that.  Dread set immediately after.  Those three words finally came back around, reminding him of what he said. Daniel could feel the way his eyes widened before he attempted to speak, the way his tongue dried immediately thereafter making it far harder to get anything out, not a word came to him and yet, those three stamped their way across his mind in dark, bold ink, ensuring the fact that he would see this moment for the rest of his natural life.  “Oh f**k…” he whispers to himself. Her laughter is angelic but the way she flicks her gaze back up to his tells him otherwise.  Maybe he wasn’t as terribly wrong
