Getting smacked down on the ground the next morning in training sure feels real! Lykos was not playing today, and she realizes that he mostly gave her the chance to win yesterday!
This is the fourth time he has caught her unawares! How the hell is he doing that? And each time he is gone before she can retaliate. Why did she have to tease him so much about it last night?!
She tries to focus on the earth to find him, but it’s as if he is wearing slippers, he moves so soft. Then she tries to reach out to him through their bond with Dib’s help, but she just shrugs.
“Lot of help you are! We are supposed to be in this together!”
“Maybe you should listen to me more often then.” Dib huffs and just hangs around humming.
